Consider letting it go for less. If it’s a financial burden to keep, then you need to calculate the minimal dollar amount of sale that still makes it financially logical to part with, compared to keeping it. You’ll be employed soon, it’ll all be fine, but extra cash on hand after an income shock is never a bad thing.

I had no idea there was a targa, but quite a good looking car, was tempted by one years ago but it was a basket case and I was just starting to get over my old Saab.

Did the dealer put a load on the battery and test it? Sounds like a dead battery that won’t hold much of a charge, or if it’s new then you’ve got a pretty heavy drain on it.

I easily fit a largish tub chair into the back of my 2017 Hatch. Great car - no regrets about it so far other than lack of volume knob on the stereo.
