I started seeing Halloween and fall decor ads for Michaels and Yankee Candle, et al, around mid July. So the holiday creep is just going to shift until we literally have Christmas in July.

Yep. Boggs snores lightly, but one of my previous cats would snore loud enough to wake me up. Boggs also dream-twitches and makes little mmh mmh sounds in his sleep.

Boggs does come to investigate when I go into the fridge. And usually it is a whole-body investigation. I’ve tried the “I’m closing you in there, then!” trick but he doesn’t care, either. And Boggs doesn’t eat or care about people food so I think it is just sheer nosiness. 

I am about ready to say to HELL with the individual.

Somebody made “Goat Simulator.” I feel like that should just be the automatic retort to “we must continue to make games for neckbeards featuring scantily clad warrior-esses. I liked the goat game, but gods what a weird thing.

Yep, I used to go to Dragon*Con, and every panel I remember, either the moderator or the panel members really encouraged a respectful atmosphere. Then again, I never went to a *gaming* panel, so ymmv.

I hope the “You about to lose yo job” lady was on the inquest panel too, because who the fuck is this coroner?

Doesn’t taking water out of the faucet, which also at some point came from the river, do the same thing?

I think the longest I have ever gone without showering is maybe 2 days? But I had H1N1 and the entire week is a blur. So while one could be forgiven for going lax WITH FREAKING SWINE FLU... I still couldn’t stand it. All I did was marinate in bed all day with a fever and hacking cough.

Not to start a hashtag or anything, but are the *industries* the problem?

Will I watch more people buy historic homes to cover period features in various shades of white and gray and bronze?
