As a loser of the genetic tooth lottery: I have had all my deep crevices sealed (then I started getting cavities on the sides and in between teeth), and started using a prescription fluoride toothpaste. That REALLY helped. I went from needing a filling every time I saw my dentist to maybe one every 2 or 3 yrs.

Do they have dental schools in the UK? Lots of Americans do this when they can’t afford full price dental work. Have it done by students for a reduced rate.
