Where I live we have two Denny's about 20miles apart that have lounges separate from the resteraunt that has a bar and a few booths. The lounges are pretty low-key and quiet.

Ask them a ton of questions about what they are studying or reading. People normally like to talk about what they are studying or reading, EXCEPT when they are actually studying and reading, then it is really fucking annoying.
