I did a bit of research and while many sites are claiming there is $2 mil left on Kesha’s contract, Sony has spent either $11 mil or $60 mil (depending on who you believe) on Kesha and actually no one except Kesha and Sony knows how much it would take to buy out her contract, or if it’s even possible.

That’s the number I’ve seen quoted and the amount the Gofundme is trying to raise to buy Kesha out of her contract. It could very well be inaccurate.

She didn’t set up the Gofundme, fans actually did in the hope of raising 2 million dollars to free Kesha from her Sony contract.

I started reading Jez when I was 12. I probably would have discovered feminism eventually, but I’m grateful to this site for introducing feminism to me early on & opening my eyes to a host of issues I wasn’t exactly learning about in school.
