The Mars section was awesome, I know that The Division is trying to be quasi-realistic (as realistic as you can be with designer viruses and bullet sponge enemies), but if they had a paid DLC where you actually went to Mars, I would be on that in a heartbeat.

But the far left tells us that it’s impossible to be racist against white people. So they can’t complain about it because then they’d be admitting they’re wrong.

Seeing as how Australia’s murder rate was already dropping well before what happened at Port Arthur, no. There’s no evidence that banning guns affected that or not, as guns have always been used in less homicides there, and save for one year gunshots have always resulted in fewer deaths than stabbings or beatings.

Well either you’re a liar then or my logic is just fine and you’re just trying to argue your way around your mistake. But feel free to stop engaging with me, it’ll save us both time.

By that logic then, why have a Bill of Rights or any amendments to the Constitution at all? Yes, the states should be free to experiment, but up to a point, and that point being where states begin to overly restrict the rights of their citizens. Apply your logic to the First Amendment, or the Fourth, or the Fifth and

Just because they did not ban all guns, does not mean it was not a gun ban, as they certainly did ban specific types of guns, as the author stated. Under your logic they could ban everything but flintlock muskets and make them all but impossible to own, and that would not be a gun ban. I guess critical thinking isn’t

Because that is what it means. There’s lots of writing samples from before, during, and after the time period in which the Second Amendment was written that demonstrate this. Well-regulated was used to mean well equipped and in good working order. If you’re writing a clause that is meant to allow individuals the right

Oh look, another pointless restriction that won’t make anyone safer but will definitely erode their freedom. Who would’ve guessed that no time would be wasted on capitalizing on this tragedy?

Seems like a lot of stories of people who made bad life choices and are upset that people loaned them money to do it. And I say this as someone who owes a lot of money on a political science degree I spent way too long getting.

This seems like it should fall under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. You should be able to find an attorney in your area who will at least discuss this with you for no up front fee and tell you if you have a case or not. Debt collectors are supposed to prove that you owe the debt, not the other way around.

Umm... no. Not in the slightest. And what difference would it make repealing the Second Amendment when the vast majority of states have statements in their Constitutions that guarantee the same right, in the same or even more explicit language? Then you’d just be saying that the Feds need to override the states’

Probably because you were the only one who cared enough to come back and comment. Not surprising though. Do better.

Using someone’s looks as a weapon is ok when you’re doing it to benefit “your side”:

The thing that makes me the most upset was that the combat was probably better than any of the other Mass Effect games. It just felt really tight once you got into it.

If something violates the Constitution but feels good, that’s a feature not a bug. The Constitution is merely an impediment to progress in their eyes. Because surely, if THEY were running things, they’d be benevolent dictators.

This is Libby hedging her bets in case Beto takes off so people can’t drag her as hard later.

I don’t know much about Cornyn, but I cannot imagine that he is somehow more unlikable than Ted Cruz.

People took the wrong lesson from Hillary losing. It wasn’t that centrism is bad or unpopular. It’s that if you’re running against a populist, people better damn well like you! Hillary’s main problem was that she was a villain to the right, and somewhere between an overbearing mother-in-law and a hobgoblin to the

If he can get through the primary without being pigeon-holed into any specifics, the lack of platform would actually be a plus come the general. He could then define specifics and narrow the avenues of attack by the right without having to worry about contradicting anything he said previously. If he could pull it off

I come here specifically to encounter and engage with viewpoints that are more often than not the polar opposite of my own. Not because I have some perverse enjoyment of conflict, but because I genuinely want to see what others who don’t share my views think, and provide them with an alternative viewpoint. Some have
