Every single person running for president is a rich person. So good luck with that.

Trump has forever and eternally destroyed the idea of being too inexperienced to run for president. It’s anyone’s game now. Perhaps in the next election after this a fry cook from McDonalds will run.
This is the worst you can say about Beto? It’s perfectly fine to say you don’t know what you’d do about the thousands of people who overstay tourist and student visas. Do you know what to do? Does anyone? Short of restricting them or putting these people on electronic tethers, what CAN you do?
I’m still really bitter about how they did Andromeda like that, even if it wasn’t perfect.
What if how lacking the game has been in narrative content is secretly some meta-commentary on the pointlessness of existence in a post apocalyptic world.
Pretty big assumption that the Democrats won’t snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and end up committing some sort of egregious own-goal that allows Trump to narrowly skate into a 2nd term.
Fun fact about the Nixon/Kennedy debate, while Nixon looked god awful on TV, most people who listened to it on the radio thought he won the debate. Had that election happened 10 years earlier, may well have had a different outcome just off of that.
So many progressives have been complaining that they need a candidate that will motivate them and here’s a guy that while maybe lacking some of their progressive bona fides is no doubt motivational and charismatic and still better than Trump getting reelected, and you’d think someone just shat in their breakfast…
It’s because intersectionalists (which are most people on the radical left nowadays) believe in a fantasy world where you can get rid of hierarchies or preferences entirely. What they fail to realize is that every choice you make is based off of them. Don’t wanna date that guy or girl because you’re not attracted to…
Well with all those voices rattling around inside his head, it’s only natural Tomato would have a conversation or two with himself.
So were Obama’s when he won the nomination.
You’re the one who whenever he decides to pipe up at me is serially contrarian. So, maybe take your own advice. I’m sorry that I don’t fit neatly into whatever box you think I should fit in.
Fair point. Either way, nobody’s worrying about Congressional approval.
The first thought that comes into my head is because he knows Trump will veto it regardless and this way when people say they never stand up to Trump he can point at this as a counter-example.
Yeah, I mean, Joe himself has stated numerous times that he’s pro-gay, pro-trans, pro-choice, pro-drug (obviously lol), pro-socialized healthcare, and a bunch of other stuff I’m sure I’m forgetting, but because he’s pro-gun too and talks to Jordan Peterson (who by the way if you’ve never actually listened to talk,…
I mean, I suppose beggars can’t be choosers and all, but it just strikes me a little hollow. Then again I’m probably the person around here who is most in favor of a strict reading of the Constitution regarding what the various branches should and should not be allowed to do, so I suppose I’m not aiming low enough…
I mean it seems to me of all things Congress would ever vote on, whether or not to declare war would be the most clear cut. Like, if there’s not overwhelming consensus to vote for war, then that means you probably shouldn’t declare war. And if nuclear war starts, war declarations are moot anyway. We’re either…
Unless they repeal the War Powers Act, they aren’t really “reclaiming” anything I’d argue. But it’s easier to grandstand and continue to let our military be used as the world’s policeman when they see fit than it is to have to sign your name to a war declaration every time you want to deploy them.
There is no value in impeaching Trump if the Senate is not more than 50% likely to convict. Investigating, yes. Subpoenaing records, yes. Questioning people, yes. But without ironclad evidence of acts worthy of impeachment, it would be a monumental own-goal to the Democrats to push an agenda that is doomed to fail and…
