Yeah, I don’t know why he gets such hate around here, especially since he seems like a decent fellow who doesn’t appear to have sexually harassed or assaulted anyone or been exposed as a racist, which makes him something of a unicorn among white male showbiz celebrities. You’d think that someone like Smith who’s an

Nah, fuck the police. Make fun of the pigs all you want.

But the real meat of The Cult Of We, and what sets it apart from previous recitations of this story, is the skill and clarity with which Brown and Farrell describe the economic and financial environment that made WeWork’s absurd peak valuation of $47 billion possible in the first place.

If you haven’t, check this out in terms of a “holy HELL this industry is fucked” narrative: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Cards_(Cohan_book)

This is a great blog written by a very handsome boy.

Which one is the Kang who got punked in Secret Wars? I loved that guy, don’t step to Doom you fucker! ;)

I’m just gonna list off all the variants of Kangs:

That was pretty entertaining for what was essentially a 45-minute-long info dump. Majors is a treat to watch playing what is essentially a bratty sociopath.

i take it you haven’t spent as many hours kissing mirrors in drag as i have.

“Restaurants have come a long way since Ug picked that berry.”

Now all we need is Joe Fixit!

Pip the Troll and Adam Warlock hanging out in that castle at the end of time confirmed!

No that’s Melf, The Elf with a Gun. He was created by Steve Gerber for his Defenders run. He would basically use elaborate disguises to surprise and shoot random people. It’s never explained why he was doing this.

Agreed. That psychiatrist issue of X Factor belongs in any list of best Marvel comics.

By knowing the voice of the video game character (he was a fan of the Witcher series before taking on Geralt’s role in the show), and accidentally defaulting to it during a scene because you’re a method actor like that.

I thought it was odd that they used Olga Kurylenko unless they have future plans for her (she’s a fairly accomplished actor for such a small role).

Part of the reason too is safety. When the car is off, or after an accident, the main high voltage battery is completely disconnected from the rest of the car (probably by those big white relays) to reduce the danger of electric shock. The car needs the 12V battery in order to boot the computers and energize the relays

I believe all current EVs, including Tesla’s, have the separate 12V. It has been a source of headaches on multiple vehicles, including Mach-Es. I assume a more integrated approach will come along eventually, but there may still be a separate, small battery for things like the clock and maybe data connection for

Because most automotive electronics are designed for 12V. Also if something happens to the battery pack its good to have a different 12v system for lights, door locks, ect.

I’m bummed Taskmaster is so unlike the Taskmaster in the comics. I don’t get a “will start a training academy for lackeys and thugs” vibe from her.
