Yeah, even in the Rundown he had fantastic comic timing as a straight man. He was great in his early SNL appearances. It’s very sad to see what doubling down on cheap action movies and steroids do to one’s acting aspirations.

One of the all time greats. Unsung.
I would be sold on this comic just because of the Beyond Corp alone.
I do not think the phrase “bites the bullet” means what you think it means.
Didn’t he also say some pretty awful and sexist things about Taylor Swift
This is exactly my feeling. I’ve had mine for almost 200k miles, it costs $20 a week to fill up after 350 miles of commuting, and it has virtually never needed service other than oil changes and brake pads. I’m considering the Rav4 Hybrid because of snow storms, but the Prius is still very much an option.
If you are familiar with any of her solo work, you’d find her an extremely discordant yet interesting choice for SNL. I myself wonder why she’d chosen to do it, but I mean, can’t be easy making a living doing body horror comedy.
It certainly sounds like she wants out but doesn’t Michaels keep them on a 7 year contract? Maybe this is some form of weird “still getting paid six figures to not do much” punishment.
It seems certainly possible that this guy is an asshole and a creep, and that also it was a bad idea for Bridgers to reinforce the notion (possibly unknowingly) that he murdered someone if that didn’t actually happen. The depositions should be interesting.
We’ve already seen what damage a live action Aeon Flux can do. The cartoon still holds up, tho.
He didn’t realize Tesla, nor did he realize Paypal. He stole them and took credit for them.
His political positions, his dating history, and his general demeanor were all public when she started dating him. She knew who he was, and she either threw away her artistic credibility anyway, or didn’t have any to begin with.
Because he’ll be lauded as effectively mitigating Activision’s problems when he sells off Blizzard, which I am positive they’re going to do by the end of the year.
As a big Sarah Squirm fan, I agree with this. I think she knows what she's getting into, and knows the vibe that the current writers want. But put in a few years (or fewer, like Jenny Slate or Casey Wilson), and that's a resume stamp you can use for any future weirdo projects.
Literally just got that now.
There’s also that Instagram picture of them with Dave Chappelle and Joe Rogan the day that Chappelle did a show and spread Covid to the local comedy club.
But grease existed in a heightened reality with large amounts of sexuality that made adults acting as teens rather enjoyable. Plus it was the 70s, and they were playing characters set in the 50s, when 14 year olds were working in mines and already had cigar voices.
Amongst what other people have written (tons of companies would love to pick up Blizzard if it was dirt cheap - someone bought Gawker, y’know?), a very distinct possibility is that a vulture capital firm could buy Blizzard, saddle it with debt, and then sell off the IP piecemeal, meaning some company could buy WoW,…
I see this ending with Activision selling Blizzard off and claiming “we fixed the problem, see?”
They work for Mr. Nobody’s (Kurt Russell) black ops off the book agency.
