I don’t think you’ll get a clearer insight into her mindset than this video of her playing Fortnite with Abby Russell for an hour:

The wide shot is to show he picked up the gun. The close up is to show he picked up the gun at the grip. Presumably it would have been nearly impossible to pick the gun up at the grip in real time.

Also, thank GOD this wasn’t in slideshow format.

Pretty sure you meant to call her by her name, which was Dub-Dub

This definitely strikes me more of an indication that Doreen kicked Wolvie’s ass, given that most of her interactions with the most famous/powerful Marvel characters are her kicking their ass.

Let’s please not compare Fieri to Jose Andres, who has VERY different motivations for what he does, and what his non-profit does.

Fieri has a specific reason for being apolitical (not putting his millions of dollars which allow him to be “above politics” in jeopardy). For people who are living on a working wage in this country, there isn’t the “freedom” to be apolitical.

That’s funny, because given the “Thin Blue AND Red Line” flags I’ve seen on firetrucks, and the vocal racism and blue lives matter stuff I hear from every firefighter I meet, THEY seem to be unable to appreciate their job without bringing the cops into it.

I happened to work at a library when it first came out, and got to read the original version in hardcover. I read it in high school, and again in college, and once more in grad school. I think it’s interesting that depending on your age/approach when you read it, it can be read a few different ways:

The weird thing is that Texas is actually tax onerous for anyone but the rich - they make up for no income tax with high property taxes, etc. So Musk is reaping the benefits, but his workers are going to end up being taxed more if they moved from CA.

I’m curious - can only individuals be sued, or companies? Because I can see this spinning out of control in a delightful way - suing Tesla for making a car in TX that was used to drive to an abortion clinic, suing Google for making searches for abortion possible, etc. But Texas loves its corporations, so I doubt it.

Now do Spider-Man: Far From Home and Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Which is too bad, because having people with experience would make so many games so much better.

The reason why it’s so funny is that it’s not at all what would happen with a 40 hour work week. Most hospital staff (like mine) are unionized - do you think that when the clock hits 4, an ER nurse will just stop giving CPR and clock out?

Why did they have a 70% turnover rate, then?

It’s “not *without* a cost.”

You right, you right!

It’s the lowest reviewed album they have on Metacritic. They obviously didn’t like it as much in hindsight because they ditched the outside producers. On that tour, only a third of the songs they played were from the album (that they were ostensibly touring behind).

They definitely made a big mistake on the last album - it barely sounds like them, and it’s telling that the best song on the album is the one Martin sings on. They, or their producers, clearly wanted Lauren doing something that she wasn’t really meant to do (top 40 pop). They sell out every show they’ve done in NYC

That may be in the contract, I’m not sure, but there’s no way it’s going to happen. It’s a cash cow for Sony, and Sony knows from the Garfield days that their Spider-Man movies won’t make a fraction of the MCU ones.
