Huh. I'm 4 episodes in, and really enjoying it, but I also really liked the books, and it's very faithful to them. 

It needs to come to switch ASAP 

I think it's doing OK. It was polygon's GOTY and judging by the staff lists, it seems like it'll also be Giant Bomb's. 

It is spectacular. I cried. GOTY. 

The Last OG films on my block every few months. Keep in mind that Tracy suffered a pretty severe TBI a few years back. The fact that he can do anything requiring memorization or timing for an extended period of time is truly a miracle of recovery. 

Control was super fun, and the Ashtray Maze for sure the silliest fun I’ve had with a game this year, but Outer Wilds, man....whew....GOTY for me. Game of the last two years. 

The fact that they shot seasons one and two back to back has already depressed me that they're going to make the subtle knife (my favorite of the three) boring and incoherent. They can't pull together the most linear of the three books, there's no chance amber spyglass will make sense at all. 

The solution was preposterously easy in knives out *spoiler*. - he'd be unconscious in seconds if she had actually given him morphine. Clue had THREE solutions and all of them were more fun than Knives Out. 

Southland Tales is an utterly delightful drunk watch.

Midsommar was second only to Parasite for my faves. And I’d argue that it stands up to second viewings because of all the foreshadowing and allusions that Aster hides in the paintings, the background, the trees....it took a second viewing to notice the sister popping up in the background 3 more times than I noticed…

I have come to terms with not liking Rian Johnson’s movies. I can see they are well-made and well directed and well acted....I just haven’t liked a single one. Huh. I thought the last 30 minutes was the whole thesis of the movie that took 2.5 hours of meandering to pay off at.

Especially towards the beginning when I had to look up that the character was supposed to be in his 20s/early 30s. Yikes.
