It’s actually a really good deal for the Knicks. They will have close to 75 MILLION in cap space next year, in which they could either get two max players and possibly zion?  You’ll never get full value for KP, but this really opens up a lot of options for them moving forward

Joe dumars?

Despite the inevitable Lakers chatter, which I can’t deny has a least some chance of happening since LeBron openly tampered with him AND they share the same agent, for the Pelicans their best play is to wait until the draft to make a deal, or at least until Boston becomes a player. He isn’t going anywhere for a full

While I can’t tell if you are joking or not, I really doubt Davis regrets getting 161 million dollars, no matter what derogatory names we come up for him

Not to be the showoff or brownnose of the group of anything, but I’ve already murdered 2 people in your name, boss.

ALL HAIL BRULUER.  I would be honored to be part of the clensing, if it pleases you

Yeah, and if his business interests were in any other city, he would have gone there!  But they weren't!  The Lakers are so good, just being in the right city at the right time!  No luck there.

Right! After a brief glance at teams and contracts: The Trailblazers could offer a package around Dame or McCollum; OKC can move a Westbrook or Adams; the Sixers could offer Ben Simmons. And that just scratches the surface with just players, nevermind the team that will have the #1 pick next year. Would that team deal

The Great Western Forum is a big sell, granted

This whole "Anthony Davis to the Lakers" has to stop.  First, Lonzo and kuzma aren't enough to get him, regardless.  (Side note:  26% from the free throw line?  Is that possible?).  Second, NOLA won't trade him until they know for sure he is going to leave, and he has given no indication either way.  Third, if they do

There is no good reason for NOLA to deal Davis to the Lakers. Ball, kuzma and whatever other nonsense the Lakers can offer aren't good enough to get him, especially when they can just wait for Boston and other teams to get involved.  The idea "the Lakers should go out and get Davis" makes it sound easy, like just

He is an old man with some kind of dementia.  Have sympathy people!  Just wheel him back into the home and let him calm down a spell

Ball and Caldwell Pope would do it.

So, you believe then?  Cool!

Same with "Donald Trump is president".  Wait.  Oh God.

Yes, that's what he meant.  Because the article was about the crap officiating and not about a 45 million dollar player not being able to find the field.

Lessons learning from championship weekend?  May the refs and coin toss be with you!  They were good games, but does anyone really believe the two best teams are playing in the SB?

lol what?

You are probably right, but currently they don’t want to spend money as it is! If they are calling at the 8 year deal, knowing the final 3 years is a complete overpay, maybe overpaying for thier prime would make more sense. I’m just annoyed and bored that this process has to drag on over 3 months.

Agreed.  If the Phillies do sign Harper and Machado is still available, why not offer a 3 year, 150 million dollar deal?  He (and his agent) gets the largest aav by far, and he can repeat the process to get another mega deal in 3 years.  It isn’t a total win for Machado, but at this point it seems his dream of 300
