Machado may have told a guy who told a guy who told another guy, in a “whisper down the lane” scenario, but if that was the case the offer would have been reported as “White sox offer 10 year fishsticks magic wand 18 peanuts”.  So yes, it was 100% the apparently desperate agent.

I think he brings up a valid point. If you want to deal with this unspeakable trauma, you’re best bet is to not come forward and stay in the shadows. Especially do not come out with totally legit accusations against a powerful institution. Never do that. Coming from a man running a powerful institution, definitely do

What statistic was sacrificed? If you sacrifice passing yards, you pretty much have to increase other statistics to get yards or TDs, unless you get 0 yards all the time, which would make it really hard to win.  Unless you sacrificed stats like “punt blocks” or “failed 2pt conversion attempt ran back for 2 points”,

For those that don't follow college baseball, what position does he play?

Oh, maybe because the “superior” team is on the road against a coach and QB that has been tested in these exact situations for over a decade. I guess the superior team that had one more regular season win just got unlucky.

Cant we have the gruden pic now be gruden shaded grey and his background be bright red?

I don't know.  Is Arizona in the United States?  If so, then yes wholeheartedly

Good, boy.  Let the hate flow through you!

What is the phrase “Kill Yourself” slang for?

They did one survey:  it would be more profitable to become a tenant in the second largest TV market as opposed to (gasp) using thier own money to build a new stadium elsewhere.  Apparently chargers ownership is broke and has to rent instead of own.  Like me!

So this has what to do with Butler, the guy that's causing the issue and yet was never part of the process?

It’s gotten so bad, teams have pretty much told us they don’t want to win at all costs, and fan bases have bought into that.  For some reason.

Kinda like “if you build us a stadium with taxpayer money, the damn thing will near pay for itself with (insert economic jargon)!” lie. People have begun to wise up to that garbage, and they will start to wise up to “payroll flexibility” horseshit they throw out there now.

Bravo!

So the cycle is Temple finds a coach, he does well, another school pays Temple for the coach, they take that money to pay a new coach, and another school will eventually pay Temple for that coach.

We all saw Bama/Clemson coming, right? Pretty much since the beginning of the season. I doubt expanding to 8 teams would change anything, from a competitive standpoint. It would make the schools more money, but it wouldn’t be very interesting to see Bama throttle UCF or Clemson bomb Michigan.

Probably.  But there is some strange rule that basically says Boston can't trade for Davis while kyrie is on thier team.  Some player designation issue.  LA could make a play for him before Boston can, but it remains to be seen if Lonzo and Ingram are adequate compensation for a top 3 player.  Probably not!

Not the rookie of the year?  Yes.  Not the rookie of the year.  Better player?

A very eloquent, thought out way to say “Lions Blow”.

Watching the play in real time, when it came out of his hand I thought he was heaving up a hail mary. But that was wrong, it was one of the best passes I have ever seen a QB make given he just spun out of 4 different tackles.
