And her nickname in that article: Andrea “KGB” Lee.
Reminds me of a quote about the KKK from The Dublin Trilogy by Caimh McDonnell:
And this is the real reason why removing your helmet to celebrate is a penalty...
Except for Marilyn Monroe. That poor woman would never leave the theatre.
Scroll down and look under “playlists,” it’s the fifth category.
That one was great, but Purgatorio was kind of middling.
My experience is they see the game so differently, are so much more gifted at what they do, and react so differently that it’s less humbling and more shock and awe. I’m not trying to slam you as an athlete or person - I just think pros are different.
Hey, I could be wrong. All I know is that I’ve seen example after example of guys who were absolutely excellent at what they did, but still got their shit wrecked by pros or even pros-to-be. So if the line is 2, I’m taking the under.
I’ve played against guys who made it to the pro level of their sport and weren’t close to all-stars. At every level, they were head and shoulders above everyone else. This should be a great wake-up call to all those morons who think, “I could take that penalty kick,” or “out of 100 at-bats, I could get 5-10 hits off a major league pitcher.” These are the C-listers of the upper tier squads, absolutely annihilating teams of fringe pros--not couch-riding, sort-of-in-shape 35 year olds.
Jalopnik is the new Playboy — I only read it for the articles.
100%. Can’t get mad that Travis didn’t want to be in a coma for a while. And he still had to have the skill and balls to pull it off.
I bet Knievel just sent it. Also, check out the ramps Evel had — his were basically symmetrical, where TP had a curved jumping ramp and a long, straight landing ramp.
Epic wake, bro.
Thunder Dan was never about the assists.
