Years ago, my toddler started calling it “spicy” water and that’s been the official Plumtree family moniker ever since. Spicy waters all around!

I’m a children’s librarian and feel awful hearing this news. I just put “I Scream Ice Cream: a book of wordles” on display earlier this week. Such a cheeky, fun writer. She will be missed - as cliche as that sounds - and her books will also continue to be loved by a lot of little fans.
I hear that deer walk and poop too!

My tenth grade Spanish teacher introduced us to Shakira’s Pies Descalzos and Mana Unplugged. Estoy Aqui and Rayando el Sol are respectively in constant rotation on my ipod. Gives me good feels!
Beastie Boys. Check Your Head and Ill Communication tie in my top five!
Ditto Trainspotting. And Clueless but also, Reality Bites. I used to have to mow the lawn - on a riding lawn mower!- and the Reality Bites album just really fit.... just me, the rows and rows of grass, and the walkman, you know?
This made me chortle. Thank you.
Shudder.

Also, Anna Roosevelt, daughter of FDR, filled in for Eleanor often during WWII while Eleanor essentially had her own career traveling across the states and advocating for civil rights.
YESS! It was TIMBER!
Holy cow. I’m so out of the Real World Loop. Last I heard he was a lumberjack turned lawyer up in Hayward? Bayfield? And Rachel gave everything up to join him the wilds of Wisconsin.
Same. I dread breaking the news to my 3rd and 1st grade daughters.
Fantastic. And Mo Glo has a good write up on Daily Beast. So proud of these ladies I’ve never met but somehow have a vested interest in their success!
I really, really hope this is my dad’s conclusion too. I’ve avoided talking about the whole thing though... with folks like my dad there is so much weirdly embedded hate for certain women. Its hard to comprehend that these guys can be such champions for their own daughters and female relatives, but display an alarming…
Going from one to two was the hardest. Once you have two, the third just kind of easily inserts itself right into the family. And, you’ve been there, done that. Plus, you still have all the baby stuff around (hopefully)!!!
