Save the Ford GTs...

Or... when in doubt just build the whole damn car to 7/8th scale.

Don't sell this gen of Quattroportes short, they were a pretty good car. I ran the Maserati store in Ft. Lauderdale back in the 80's when we sold a surprisingly good amount of these. Of course they weren't perfect, but a hell of a lot better than the BiTurbos and other Masers of that era. Accessory and build quality

It's been going on since at least 1964 when Jim Wrangers was supplying press GTO's with 421 ci engines instead of the 389's. They must have been a ball to drive, though.

More than just a dark horse... Exner's tailfins defined America in the Fifties. Iconic.

Having known Ted since the mid-1980's, I can only surmise that if he thinks his total loss was around 200k, then the actual value would be closer to $11.00.

Dear Dr. Youabian,

I was married to a WV girl from Charleston for 10 years. Still paying for that screw-up.

If only the American manufacturers would do the same. Imagine a lot full of new COPO 427 Camaros, Dodge Hemi Darts or Ford Thunderbolts. Best yet would be for Chevy to finish the initial run of the tube frame '63 Corvette Grand Sports, the world would be a better place with all 125 of these around instead of just six.

Ivo's 4-engined wagon might be a little quicker than the Volvo...

I'm betting the wheels/brakes are based on the early 60's Pontiac 8-lug units.

Square groupers are back!

Of course they built one...

Damn. Just... damn.

I always liked the "mail box" scoops on my old Hurst HO455. Form follows function, indeed.

Always looked forward to seeing the MG Mitten ads in Road & Track, they were great. Company was owned by a woman named Marion Weber and was one of the first to market fitted car covers. Of course the artist was the late great Dave Deal. Good stuff.

"King" Blue...

After watching the reveal, looking at all the images, even watching the car at B-J, I was starting to accept the rear, even the silly taillights. Until I saw the last photo in this article. The blue car doesn't begin to read as a Corvette. An F-Body, maybe a Reatta? But not a Corvette. Damn it.

Sacrilege isn't a strong enough word. I was fortunate to have spent time in and around a 2000GT owned by a dear friend and it's a truly beautiful car. Fortunately his had a better fate, it was bought back by Toyota and is currently in their museum (it's the red one) in Southern California. This monstrosity just makes

Doesn't make a difference if it's real or rendered, it still has dumb-ass taillights.
