Let regular blue dawn sit in it (with hot water) for a bit and hit it with steel wool and elbow grease.

Steel wool people.  Works without the need for a scrubbing agent and takes care of glass as well.  Obviously don't use on non-stick...

Any ad revenue based platform seems like it will suffer in the future. As more and more people simply take what is given them (like Apple News) as part of their expected delivery service, the more subscription based products (like WSJ) will be able to profit off the reach of a larger platform.

Seems like it would be the opposite, a strong subscription model with dedicated readers eliminates the need for advertisement to pay the bills. Those companies trying to accomplish a “freemium” model (like NYT) can’t take advantage of the reach Apple provides because they have to have people access their website.

It had started booming before (mostly it seems from IG hunters) but keeping people indoors has definitely made people want to be outdoors more.

The sub brand thing could be interesting going forward. Mustangs are all performance, Broncos all off road. Whats next? Expeditions all people haulers.

Yuk. Even picking and choosing the best comments about this vehicle (when it landed 12 years ago) its not very reassuring.

I like this direction and is something more manufacturers should do, assuming they can keep it tasteful. I can’t think of many sports cars that have performance packages that don’t add a bunch of tacky stick ons.

To present the other side of the argument, the bricks basically last forever. I have likely no less than 20 apple chargers of various sized from the families phones over the years.  I also have a ton of small rechargeable electronics that use usb-b and a game system that uses usb-c.  We often throw away usb bricks

I did this once after I received a car from my Grandma. Parked it, oops wrong side. Turned it around, hmmm, not here either. Checked the other side.

They didn’t say they were good colors...

The lead image had me wondering how I missed Zork running on an Astrocade.

That’s just sad. I do recall ordering a Kobe burger from some place just because it was the cheapest thing on the menu. It shows up with no burger patty. Couldn’t find the waiter to flag down so I settled for a bus boy. He ended up grabbing the manager who was appalled.

While the costs work out to $330k apiece, don’t forget that that includes a long term maintenance contract as well as the ability to provide spares and other services. The vehicle itself is likely less than 1/4 of that cost.

I really like the way these look as they nailed the 89-91 transition style that isn’t full box but also not fully 90s.

I can tell you that surgeon/bimini are both very common for fishing (or bad variants thereof) and how I was taught to attach a hook to a line.  I’m not sure I know any other real knots.

A noose is any loop with a slip knot.  Its a definition, not an admission.

I can’t trust the results of any survey putting Dodge and Nissan in a top spot for reliability...

There are several photos that surfaced before the FBI investigation where the ropes are tied into a loop to grab. The photo from this one looks more noose like than others I’ve seen, but its not the only place with the loop tied.

Kind of insane to have one part of the article claim there is no government oversight yet we have to dictate markings for HVAC controls
