I think our house basically has Kosher Salt (thanks Alton) and Lawry’s.  Makes it easy....

All recipes is so hit and miss on its ratings. Half the time you see a single star and the review is “I substituted butter for nonfat yogurt and it was terrible”. You really need to look at the recipe on its own.

I don’t think this is even a secret. I was talking to the owners of a robotics company who Tesla was looking to partner with (to provide things like paint robots). He was very clear that cars are an end to a means and the real goal is to basically become an energy provider.  Basically he wants to become a private

Probably happens about as often as a writer getting to publish a piece about it starting and dying again.

Is there some kind of definable difference between the different types of “-mex” food designations. Tex-mex, sur-mex, mex-fusion, etc all basically end up being the same thing but with different branding.  Hell I would bet most people identify tex-mex as Mexican food because they have never had the real thing.

Re: Car Leather. The industry has been moving away from real leather for a while now. Hell, nearly all “leather” made in the last 15+ years is heavily coated to the point where most young people have never touched actual leather in a car.

Bourdain was a Chef so its worth noting that his comments are likely specifically targeted to people who a) have the ability to choose being vegan vs being forced to be vegan due to lack of availability and b) expect someone else to make and modify food that satisfies their dietary choices.

NP just for the V6.  It feels like only Mazda would build a one off engine for a single model (and they did it often).

That grill is begging for a giant 3 pointed star.  I could never figure out why they keep going with the tiny little emblem over these large grills.  Looks like a Genesis.

Screw these people. After waiting outside of a Costco for 30 minutes I watched as they let first responders and medical in the store through a separate entrance that skipped the line. No problem, makes sense.

Z Rating only guarantees 149mph.  You are looking for a Y or W rating in the load/speed index spot (found after the wheel size).

$900 tune removes the speed limiter and adds 20+hp (theoretically should hit 195).  People bounce off the stock limiter easily and many report hitting 180+ with no limiter on a stock c63.

This is all I really needed to hear

So assuming they are both crazy, do we think this is more Grimes (who I know nothing about) and Musk just goes along for the S&Gs or is Musk actually planning to be involved in this kids life and is preparing for some trippy space future.

I never minded driving old or unsafe hunks of junk as a bachelor but once I had kids it really changed that outlook. Too many accidents that could have ended worse that I had no control over (one head on, two T bones).  I still want to own a Viper, but the car seats go in vehicles with a lot of safety tech.

I think that is very insulting to lugnuts.

While $20 to stream at home seems like a premium for a rental, that’s only if you compare it to 1-2 tickets. A family of 5 is often dropping $60-$80 on tickets alone, never mind having to miss parts of the movie to escort a kid to the restroom or buying overpriced popcorn.

Seems like the real news is that you can probably swap these at home with aftermarket parts.

I think many home mechanics wouldn’t consider a muffler shop the same as taking a vehicle to a mechanic. Your Jalop card is still very safe.
