Sucks that while those were fantastic parts in the early 2000s they are far outclassed by their modern equivalents. You really would want to at least swap them to something newer.

This car is so perfect. I’ve had a FC and a RX8 but never the right amount of money along with the right place in my life to buy a FD.

I wonder who makes them. Considering the vastness of what they sell (looks like basically everything) I highly doubt most of it isn’t rebranded from someone else.

Although they aren’t measuring the same thing, is there a rough HP to Thrust formula out there?

I would really love to have a Sprinter instead of the family van but damn they are expensive.

Yea, but what specific products do they make? Cutting compounds? Polish? Wax? Those are what matters in high end detailing, not AP and glass cleaner.

This stuff is fairly cheap especially compared to something like Ammo. Time to go look up opinions. I find it somewhat hard to believe that this is exactly what he uses on his best vehicles unless the lineup is limited to AP cleaner, glass cleaner, wheel cleaner and a soap.

Damn, its not the cars fault it was illegally imported/exported.

Under any other circumstance I would be pissed at that comment. Here, I spit food all over my computer screen.

That number of deaths seems low and it should. CA has far less people and basically the same traffic death statistics. Neither of them actually break out the number of ones directly attributed to what this law is looking to accomplish.

You apparently weren’t here for all the changes and problems in the past. The old system required you to be a “starred” commenter (by the staff) to have any meaningful say in the discussion. After Kinja was implemented you could get out of the greys from almost anyone non-grey responding to your comment.

Man, that actually looks really good. The A class has always looked like the odd man out in MBs lineup. Even the Sprinter looked more like everything else. Also:

I have to say, it looks great and checks almost all the right boxes. Whats the consensus on modern Kia reliability these days?

Something like 5+ years ago my wife was asked to digitize a ton of family photos from her side (like 20k photos). I was really surprised at how few options are out there for scanners these days. We ended up with the same (or very similar) Epson as well. It lets you scan multiple photos at the same time and separates

I’m sure its fine but I can’t imagine driving one of the 7 speed manuals that are out there now. I wouldnt be surprised that if the manual lasts long enough we wouldnt see  8+ gears

This is a good point. Tire tech has gone so far forward that what used to be the best you could buy is now outclassed by the most basic tire. I feel like the Falken Azenis somehow opened the doors for passenger cars (maybe just the timing).

Of course I can’t find the clip but there was some amazing footage in the early 2000s of a rally car sliding around a hairpin turn and when it finally completes its rotation you can see its torn off an entire rear wheel. No F’s given obviously as they blast up the hill and keep going.

wtf am I looking at? I must know

This goes for far more than just MB. I recently purchased a 4 year old Audi that was 35% of its new price.

I love when a model change happens for a car I love. You can just watch the price plummet as people realize that the “old” model is no longer the new hotness. Watching a car go from 75% of new price to 40% practically overnight is amazing when you are shopping.
