S4 has the same problem. One week and the wheels look awful and they squeak pretty bad. Swap the factory pads for something higher quality and it all goes away.

Not sure if this is a German car thing or not but I know that my S4 brakes squeak when its cold out and its just the garbage factory pads. Different pads = no squeaking.

I wonder why most cars sound terrible when sitting still revving the engine but sound amazing when under load...

Oddly the mileage doesn’t bug me as much as how old it is. A mid range 17 year old german car isn’t worth $5k in my book on a good day.

not to mention additional parental controls that will creep out their kids

Very cool. Also, the wheels on that Integra look like they might be from Rotiform who also makes some impressive throwback Diablo wheels (as well as modern versions of a ton of old wheels).

Nardo is fantastic. The grey that VW is offering these days is pretty awesome as well despite it going on so many boring cars.

There are multples of each of those colors running around town. Despite the desert one being so drab in general, it stands out against the sea of white and silver far more than you would expect.

Between the dark blue (the only real color offered) and the various greys, silvers and blacks was minimum $5k difference on the used market. Its nuts.

Having owned far too many silver cars in a row I swore I would never buy another one. However, since I like to buy used and no one shares my philosophy I ended up with a “grey” car since it was so damn impossible to find even a blue one that wasn’t $10k more.

We moved from a house where the “visitors” who stayed for weeks on end at the house across the street. Instead of parking in front of the house they stayed at, all their cars were parked in front of mine for weeks on end. It was getting difficult to even put the trash out. No idea why they would park across the street

I’m good with this explanation. Need to be +/-10% Aston Martin to be a GT car...

I always felt you know it when you see it. It shouldn’t be your dedicated sports car but it should be the sports car you don’t mind driving on a long trip. If you have seat time in a regular sedan, a GT and a sports car you can pretty quickly make a value judgement.

I always mix up Peter Brock and Brock Yates for some reason. I associate Brock Yates with those sweet BRE stripes so maybe Ill try some association of Pete Brock with BSC...

4th comment down. Something is wrong...

I forgot about bearshare.

Thats fine for people who care the most for music but most people just want to be able to hear their favorite artist without too much trouble. They dont use Spotify for much more than what you get from other services and they will be the first to consider jumping ship.

When Netflix puts out a price hike, people freak out and mostly continue to pay for Netflix.

Damn, I bought a 2007 Fit Sport 4.5 years ago and paid $5400. It had a ton of miles on it though...Its crazy how the Honda tax has stuck around. That being said, it would have sold this year in the 3500-4000 range. Thats some depreciation but I doubt it would take much to get more for your car.

I’m with you, I had a 2006 GT and although it was amazing at the time it seems downright pathetic today.
