I can’t believe this thing is still on the road. CFC killed off an entire generation of cars that had the same settings for the seats and suspension.

I think flipping off and swearing at the parts is part of the service procedure for anything stuck in place.
This kind of stuff is the worst. I was so pissed when I found out you can’t buy Odyssey ball joints that aren’t pre-attached to the A-arm they make you buy as well.
Tons of people are doing LT swaps. Chevy even sells them direct for swaps.
It kinda sucks that while you can get this entire setup for $13k (and cheaper if you can find a donor) the cheapest E-Rod from Chevy for just the engine comes in at $10k+. I really need to find a way out of CA.
My wife’s ring gets rhodium dipped for free under whatever guarantee came with the ring. It seems like a pretty good idea considering how dull they look without it. Had no idea the platinum ones were coated as well.
As a 3.0S4 owner I can attest that they are average fast. You mentioned 2 other vehicles that are newer and cost the same that are just as fast. That makes it average in its category, not fast. We’re also specifically talking about the 2008 since a 2011 is like $10k more. In fact, you could probably get that 911 for…
A wash and a wax every so often...
That interior is terrible. Maybe its just the interior and the lighting but...is that a blue dash? Everything else is so amazing it kills me that they made the interior look like that.
Man, you completely missed the tone of my post.
This is where I think people start to lose their arguments. The Is-f is not going to hit 0-60 in 4.6 consistently (or even ever) on the streets. Any of the manual cars will also have a bunch of wheelspin to watch out for as well. The car that will be consistent on the street is the one that is slowest in that shootout.
Love my 2013 S4. Less money than these and more likely to beat one in a sprint to 60. Better interior too.
Somehow I didn’t look at these when shopping last time around. I still can’t justify the price tag though. You can get a much newer S4 or M3 for the same price. These seem to be $30k for a decent one and $23k+ for ones with 100k miles on them. They also weren’t terribly fast and the interior matches the exterior, its…
I still think that it is a pipe dream for America to become a fully autonomous nation in anything but the distant future. As a country we simply wont allow for the “lowest common denominator” to be hindered because there is something better on the horizon.
My Honda Van goes to zero as well as (obviously) my Audi.
I owned a 2006 and the difference between the original “new” mustand and the current one is night and day. I was incredibly close to buying a 2015 with the PP and recaros. It really is amazing what they have done with it over the years.
For an unknown Nissan engine I think the FJ20 is pretty well regarded. I thought the article would be talking about the CA18.
Pretty harsh words considering you have the facts wrong:
How is the transmission? Power output has been great from almost all engines for the last 2-3 years. Sticking points for me are always how the trans handles it and how smooth everything is.
This was my first thought as well. $40k is high, but assuming it does what other Kias do it should be one of the best used buys in a few years.
