Neutral: this was the big argument yesterday as well over infrastructure. Toyota is right, its really an all or nothing approach. You can’t have a vehicle that’s “kind of” autonomous but it doesn’t work in 75% of the country.

My favorite was the EG civic I purchased with 297k on the clock. Previous owner said the only major item replaced in that time was a radiator from a rock punching a hole in it. Car ran like a champ despite my dumb teenage years.
I don’t disagree that the percentage might be high, but I still think that 43 is a low enough number to be people tinkering with their cars or trying to get some youtube fame. Again, its still crazy that a HG would fail this day and age. Last time I had one let go was a LS/VTEC with high compression pistons. I went…
I’m actually surprised and not at the same time.
This, it really is a situation where it works under the current conditions or it doesn’t work. At no point is all the infrastructure in the country going to be at the level these people want.
My biggest problem with this argument is that the US will likely never mandate self driving cars until every other vehicle has hit some arbitrary age (probably like 25+ years). I expect every single autonomous vehicle produced to be able to manage with poorly constructed roads and signage as well as other drivers who…
Maybe they shouldn’t run the hood release on the outside of the car...
The Honda tax is real. Especially in CA.
I’m really not sure how to feel about this. I get when Forza or GT has to license vehicles in game because the game is focused around said vehicle and its brand/trademark.
I disagree. Having bought at least 3 cars with 190k+ miles you are really missing out on some deals. Especially if they are the correct Honda models.
Calling the Integra a civic shows that you have never driven one. This thing would run circles around your wagon on the track. Funny how you were clearly embarrassed to mention the make/model (I’m guessing a 1.8T B7 Audi at the price you are talking about). Ill take the Integra.
Holy crap, I didn’t realize the 1st gen TSX had dropped that far. Two years ago I couldn’t find that or a RSX-S for less than $7k and they were sketchy then.
I lol’d.
NP. GSRs that aren’t beat to death or modified within an inch of their life can’t be found for $4.5k. The color is awful but the 4 door has some charm.
Ah yes, the dude magnet.
Sold a Rx8 a few years back after getting it in solid running condition. Sold it to a kid who didn’t seem all that confident driving it. It showed up here on a Kinja post 6 months later as a dirt cheap craigslist ad where the final line was “smells like gear oil...”
Its honestly the first time I’ve dealt with updates killing the usability of the device. I know it often happens when you are 2+ years out of cycle but to have last years phone stutter and not recognize inputs is really bad.
I would happily ride if everyone else did as well. I hardly trust people enough to drive around them when I have 4 wheels and some metal surrounding me. Too many morons on cell phones in SUVs for me to make that jump.
Since its in the photo, a massive number of fire extinguishers were just recalled. Anyone who carries one needs to check. It seems at least two deaths have been attributed to the extinguisher failing in a time of need.
Was hoping to see the Renown colors but no luck.
