Commodus might be the best analogue for Trump at this point. We're well beyond Nixon or Harding type corruption, which seem almost quaint by comparison.  Also from an intellectual standpoint, watching the American empire crumble is kind of interesting.  It's awful to live through, but I'm beginning to see the appeal…

I have never understood the appeal of that guy. Always just struck me as a smug prick, like Bill Maher or Dennis Miller.  

I continue to use my 11 y/o as a barometer for which superhero movies to see, especially after Ant-Man 2. If he isn’t interested, I should know better than to go see it.

Once in a while, I will go to the Asian grocery and buy the dollar a pack ones instead of my standard Nissin brand.  They're really good but... they're a buck a piece.
