Ahh ha! I knew it. It was a cynical ploy to upsell a GMC.

And this is why I ignore the purists argument that Porsche has lost its way. Those Macans (and Cayennes for that matter) are the reason Porsche is in such great financial shape.

Something something, “we don’t like not-brits and brown people, regardless of what damage this will do to us?”

Perfect metaphor for America right now. Nobody but a fucking asshole wants the president we have, and nobody but a fucking asshole wants to see this team in another Super Bowl. Just one more thing to endure.

I have no horse in this race at all but man that stings. What a horseshit no call, maybe the worst ever. Completely robbed. How Sean Payton could hang around and do an interview afterwards without losing his shit is beyond me

Normally, it has to be planned well in advance to be shoehorned into the extremely busy schedule of the president.

One thing I’ve been wondering and haven’t seen anyone discuss... isn’t it really weird to be doing this Clemson visit six days after the game? Has there been a quote about why/how this came about so quickly?

Such a proud boy.

Burger King is a Canadian based company (they merged with Tim Hortons a few years ago and did some legal wiggling so they can avoid paying US taxes.) Shameful. You’d think Trump would know that and could find a Russian company to do the catering.

This guy’s a fucking hero.

“Caravans of progress take time to cross a desert of resistance,”

Ok I really like it, but while I not one to jump on the “it’s just a rebadged BMW BAD” bandwagon, I will just say that they did a lousy job a Toyota-izing the center console.

If there is one lesson a person should take from the 2010s, it is that people who are personally nice to you are invariably good in all other areas.

Is it too early to do a “Meh Car Monday”?

Your hot take is ice cold! :)

Here come all the people that weren’t going to buy one anayway proclaiming that they aren’t going to buy one.

I want to know how ALL the panel gaps got so big. Did they fix it with a bicycle pump?

A MINT IT-R I could see going for $22k, but a beater IT-R - even bone stock - is maybe half that. This thing is beaten and tired after 20 years as a daily driver. It’s got a lot of potential but needs a lot of restoration. Slash the price in half and I’ll take it, but for $22k, pass the crack pipe.

No effing way! Overpriced, low-power, worn-out and the seller is asking new-car prices for something that’s approaching the end of its useful and problem-light lifespan.

CP.  Too many miles for that price. Plus the guy obviously doesn’t take care of this car. Touch up paint and a quick removal of the cataracts on the headlights doesn’t take a whole lot of time.
