It kinds of looks like the devs thought about this path. Add in some new critters, different Orc nemesis and powers into the base game and let the RNG roll and hope you get them. It would definitely be cool to see one show up during normal gameplay.

Yeah, you end up doing a lot more damage with un-upgraded "new" weapons than you do with fully upgraded pre-DLC weapons.

I have no idea what ending it was, but I was much younger and had no idea what was going on. I think it was probably my first interaction with alternate endings. I was so incredibly confused.

I love that cool little tidbits like this are getting coverage on Kotaku. I love seeing articles like this, especially with Pokemon games. It just adds to the mythos and lets us get an idea of how the future of the franchise looks. Keep it up, Patricia (and Kotaku)!

True, but I'm still not convinced this is a valid argument. Yes, day 1 patches are annoying and yes, games should never ever ship broken, but we're at a point where patches even for solid titles are almost always expected.

Picking up Kingdom Hearts and Game of Thrones on Tuesday. Really excited to play through Birth by Sleep on a bigger screen and with better controls.

We're going out to the Museums too! I've been up here for a while, so the parents decided to truck up here and take advantage of the proximity. Though we are paying for one, The Newseum! Such a great museum. Highly recommended for any who haven't been.
