This is a good change. I played last season and decided to hop out again after feeling the gear grind. I wasn’t looking forward to losing weapons after an arbitrary time period after they are so stupidly hard to get (with a good roll) in the first place. It’s one thing if I have to grind hours for some exotic or

I’m in for another season. I just wonder what them leaving the house means for the Wall plotline. That was one of the more compelling parts of season one, and I hope they don’t abandon or shrink it!

Sazh is for sure the most redeeming thing about XIII. He’s more memorable for his quest to save his child than Lightning’s attachment to her sister. He’s got the cute frocobo. And he actually behaves like a human would throughout most of the story (if I remember correctly). Dude isn’t a murder machine or a fabled

I remember this show! I thought it was sweet because the robot’s main power was a hologram generator. He also had standard robot stuff like super strength/hacking/etc... But he was supposed to be an infiltration unit, so he had a bunch of disguises. Good show!

I love personal challenges to not engage in popular media. I respect it, even if it annoys the hell out of me because it’s a property I like.

Oh really? I don’t think I realized that. Well, I’m still convinced the Stadia tech ends up integrated somewhere. Stadia is impressive tech, even back in the beta I was supremely impressed. It would be kind of crazy for this to end up just discarded instead of wider implementation like we’ve seen with Azure.

Yeah, I’m familiar with Now. But I can also see Stadia replacing it due to better implementation, stronger infrastructure, or something akin to data sharing where Sony gets some sort of Google data in exchange for using the underlying tech.

I could definitely see the underlying Stadia technology making its way to Switch or Playstation systems, but I don’t necessarily see a future for the Stadia brand. It didn’t catch on, it didn’t make waves, and now it doesn’t have exclusivity.

I love how the suicide mission can play out. I remember when the game first launched, I had a perfect run. When I went to look at all the guides after the fact, I had actually made two severely risky choices that had a coin flip chance of failing. Whoops! Everything worked out in the end, though.

It’s not just the monthly subs though, it’s that a 6-month card now costs $60. Twice what it used to.

Dang. First time missing out on one of these exclusive demos, and it’s one I’d really like to play, too! I’ll b grabbing this on PC. Looks like there’s Ray-tracing, so that could be very cool. Also a big fan of the inventory system as opposed to the RE7 style.

I picked up Sonic Generations during the Steam holiday sale on a lark and uh, holy shit. That game is crazy fun! Why don’t we bring it up more often when talking about good Sonic games? It deserves its high place on this list.

I got a copy of the Cold War Call of Duty with my GPU and I’m going to play it, if only to see how RTX with maxed graphics looks.

I jumped back into Destiny at the launch of the new expansion and picked up the first season with some leftover silver I had. I’ve now totally dropped it. The last thing I did was finish the Garden of Salvation raid quest for the exotic trace rifle so I could run the Deep Stone Crypt.

Well, I WAS hoping to build my PC, but apparently the case got delayed. Everything else is here though! So I currently have all the parts in boxes under the Christmas tree like a dork.

Really starting to agree with that last point right now. Got this game a few weeks ago and have slowly been plucking away. After I did the first “ally” mission thing I decided to take a story break and unlock all the viewpoints. Holy hell, I think I spent like 3 or 4 hours just doing that! The map is MASSIVE.

I think the vibe for other cities without mass transit is more, “I’m driving home, lemme stop at the store I inevitably pass and pick up X, Y, and Z.”

I did that cat mission this morning! I tried to pet as many as possible before they all ran away.

It’s nuts. I just got a 3080 the other day finally and that was after joining a discord that watched in-stock notifications. I was lucky that my Newegg Apple Pay went through as quick as it did, since I tried many times before and it would add to card and then be gone by the time I got to checkout.

Wow. I just googled the plot. What a huge bummer.
