totally agree about Sazh. I enjoyed the gameplay of XIII, but not the characters or stories- but Sazh was a huge exception.

Barrett’s parenting seems to be more prominent in the remake, or at least cutscenes made it stand out more.
(Attempt 2) Yup, Nintendo has its own streaming tech, most recently used for Control and Hitman 3. They did some earlier test releases in Japan with Resident Evil 7 and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. But I agree, it could absolutely be bolstered by leveraging the Stadia tech instead.
Ugh, my comment got completely mangled...will try again. :P
Thank you for allowing me to live in my truth. I still have my KH2 guide too and an FFXII guide which I found still works with FFXII: The Zodiac Age a decade or so later
apologies in advance for this, but
Life without salami and pepperoni doesn’t last longer, it just feels longer. 😒
It certainly wasn’t the smartest or best part of the movie, but it was the most laugh out loud part of it. I don’t think I’ve laughed that hard in a movie theater in my entire life, before or since. I actually had tears running down my cheeks, which is not something that typically happens to me. I’m not sure if you…
Yeah, this is one of the reasons I love Hades. Even though you need to unlock new abilities and weapons over the course of the game, you still get to feel like a badass from the very beginning. (Obviously it’s far from a direct comparison with Avengers, though)
Yeah, maybe this might be worth revisiting then.
That’s only only true for newer Assassin’s Creed games and why the poster mentioned Assassin’s Creed 2. In AC 2 there was far less crap filling the map.
I tried getting into Assassin’s Creed, and I got out of there fairly quickly. The massive map with eleventy billion glowing flashing mission icons gave me anxiety.
I agree! I always think the game needs to show you the full toolkit by the half way point. I don’t need new variety, i just want the game to force me to get really good at the toolkit it provided. So instead of Zelda-gating every level with a new skill, just give me bigger and more complex levels for the second…
Absolutely! They recently announced that they’re going to be allowing you to play the campaign again, with your fully powered characters, so that’s great. Those were the most unique, distinctive missions in the game, and it’ll be great to play them again with what I have now, as long as they scale the enemies to match…
I don’t know that I’ve ever laughed harder in a movie. The laughter was convulsive and uncontrollable and kept building as the scene got more and more absurd. At one point, I remember being afraid I was going to pass out from lack of oxygen. The whole theater was absolute bedlam.
“My moustache still tastes of your testes.”
I saw it in theaters and people were crying and sliding out of their seats during that scene. I’ve never seen that happen before or since.
I felt like the naked wrestling scene was key because it was just pure slapstick physical comedy. Scenes like the frat guy one mixed comedy with horror for me -it was really depressing to see how much racisim, sexism, etc. was just below the surface for so many apparently normal/regular people. After an hour or so of…
I think it was the most outrageous scene by far. Considering most scenes involve Borat walking his interviewees/subjects across the line into inappropriateness or copping to some odious beliefs, the naked wrestling was full-on “we’re going there.”
I feel like seeing this in theaters, that was the big screaming/laughing/holy shit moment. I had multiple different people recall to me their experiences of having a packed theater just LOSE THEIR MINDS during that sequence. Definitely not the most pointed or satirical moment of that movie, but I’d argue that it’s a…
