Cross-system functionality like this is always a good thing. It just means more options and features for the users.

Baaah, if I wasn't getting the Star Wars Blurays on Friday, I would totally spring for Deus Ex! It sounds like a really fun game.
Yeah, that horrible *CHING* noise is just incredibly obnoxious. And its really ruining the more laid-back songs. It might be okay for battle music but, oh boy will it sound bad on something like To Zanarkand.
Agreed. I never suffer from Buyer's Remorse on anything that I've planned on buying in advance, but the 3DS is a special case. I feel like the initial hardware just needed some tuning, but unfortunately we're the testers.
I was thinking the exact same thing.
Well, what about games that sell just unlock codes for something thats already on the disk? There are multiple examples of that, notably Resident Evil 5 with its additional multiplayer modes. Or Shuma-Gorath and Jill Valentine in MvC3, they were already partly on the disk. I think that's where the main gripe about…
Yeah, the subscription alone seems to justify it. If you're a CoD fan.
Agreed.
I think part of this phenomenon is when an author/creator whatever spends so much time creating this in-depth universe with all of these quirky characteristics and people. When you spen so much time realizing this world, you eventually become hesitant to leave it behind. Why did you plan all of this out if the…
You know, I've never been a fan of Valve games (apart from Portal), mainly because I'm a console gamer. But Gabe really knows how to cater to fans. There's a reason Steam is so popular and profitable, and its due to a developer looking at the industry and saying "hey, lets do this right."
It's just a funny little thing that essentially says, 2K didn't have to authorize this, you should support them by buying their games and DLC. It was very tongue-in-cheek though so it wasn't like a huge advertisement, just a goofy thing. And it was praising the guys who make the games too.
Have they officially stated that you can DL the maps from CE onto the Hard Drive and use them in Reach? I've heard rumors about this but I've never actually seen a source. Thanks!
I would do the same thing, but all of my online friends have the 360, so I'll most likely get it on that so we can compare progress, chat, etc...
Well, a game can only have so much content. Plus, by announcing a release date, they kind of lock out any new additions.
I agree, it seems pointless. Now, if they hadn't announced it and just left it there for people to find, that would've been kind of cool. But by announcing it, they turn it into some useless feature that doesn't change anyone's opinion about the game.
I'm optimistic. A lot of the team at 343 migrated from Bungie after Halo 2, so that's a good sign. Plus, I'm interested in another studios take on the franchise.
Yeah, the initial price seemed like it was waaaaaay too expensive, but they've slowly built up the value of the convention. This seems like a really fun thing for Call of Duty fans.
I have that Super Famicom Wii dongle. Bought it for about $20 at a used game shop in Tokyo while I was studying abroad. It is seriously the best Wii accessory I own. It improves SNES games 10 fold.
Exactly.
And that's great. I've just never seen the appeal in moving sliders that slightly alter appearance. I appreciate the detail that Bethesda and other companies put into character creation engines, but I've never really had to create a character to identify with him/her.
