As it happens, that tends to be when I watch it too! And yeah, the first season is pretty good. It gets better as it goes into later seasons, but it did start surprisingly strong. A lot of shows take a long time to find their footing.

I’ve been going back through Psych on Netflix, and it still holds up. Still a lot of fun, and a really good cast. They’re a good ensemble, and work really well together. As comedy show ensembles go, maybe even up there with Newsradio (a personal favorite).

The whole trend of remaking movies would actually be a good thing if they just started remaking bad movies instead of classics. There are so many old movies that had potential but never quite lived up to it. Giving some old ideas a second try to get it right could actually result in some good films coming out, instead…
