This is why everyone should have to take a sociology class. The sociological imagination IS empathy— listen to people, put yourself in someone else's shoes, understand people's constraints, histories, limitations, choices, think from a different perspective etc.

My cat does this when she's hungry or thinks we're not paying enough attention to her. She'll climb and find something breakable— even if it's just remote controls— and watch us to make sure we're looking and then we watch her pushing it off. I swear she loves doing it!

I find Alfred to be MUCH faster as an app launcher than Spotlight. I only use Spotlight when searching for file names and within files. I use Alfred for app fast app launching.
