the government has a very absurd bone to pick!

I’m sure all these tariffs are going to be great for consumer confidence and do absolutely nothing to fuel the already looming recession.

The bag size problem is a failure on the airlines behalf, not the customer. The customer is a stupid idiot as demonstrated, the employees shouldn’t have let the bags on the plane.

No one cares about legal terms, no one cares about carefully measured language and implicit content of their statements. Look at the baboon in the fucking white house, if something happened he needs to actually say it so people who don’t care about nuance or understand legalese can understand what he is saying and not

This is a good point, I think a lot of this has to do with consumer tastes, and with the ways cars are reviewed now. You can’t get a well reviewed car without offering this stuff anymore, so no body makes it because they think reviews reflect the tastes of the average consumer.

He could have very clearly stated today “ I was not given the option to indict the president due to justice department policy, I believe the report has enough evidence to begin impeachment proceedings” but he fucking didn’t, he was mealy mouthed about what his report was, then skirted off without taking questions.

funny isn’t exactly the word i would use, but yeah, pretty much this.

Unless Stuart Sternberg ponies up some more of his own money, I don’t see anything happening in Tampa.

I traveled to Austin for work, and our office was on the North side of the city, and I was so bummed out because at 5 when I got off the drive was over an hour to get to the cool area, so I never bothered going.

That’s really what it feels like right? The 3rd tier of the OEM’s banding together to stay the 3rd tier, just at lower costs.

I assume you have to be fluent in new yorker to know what all that means.

Because there isn’t the capacity to produce anymore steel/aluminum here in the states, that was one of the problems to begin with. You can’t just open more processing plants overnight after 40 years of closing them down and exporting the work. So sure they can raise domestic prices, but they aren’t going to invest

I thought the story was that he wanted a quick release to hover like 5 feet above the ring like he was stuck and then pull it to let go.

I was watching a Gordon Ramsey cooks thing on Hulu and he made baked beans for breakfast and my culinary opinions of him have been forever altered.

He was a biological weapon developed by the children of the forest to kill the first men. That was his purpose.

Turning Game of Thrones into the Walking Dead “All Out War” seasons would have been a good thing you see.

The discovery that Jon Snow was really Aegon Targaryen was as irrelevant to the story as the White Walkers, whose presence and defeat didn’t matter to anyone. Genuinely insane how little both of those stories ultimately mattered.

Right, but when a robot has an uptime of like 98% or something like that you’re not doing a 1:1 replacement when you lose line jobs. It’s more like 1 maintenance worker for 50 robots or something like that.
