, Ford would need to cut another 23,000 salaried workers, auto analyst Adam Jonas wrote in note to investors Tuesday

The better answer is because of money laundering and peoples unwitting participation in it, but this works too.

Well you’d be right if that’s really what they were doing, but all they’re doing here is trying to pump the stock price.

The company’s cuts will total 7,000 workers by the end of August, including voluntary buyouts

Someone was trying to document if he was going to assault that woman I’d guess.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from the #discourse over the past couple of weeks, no one actually pays attention to the show unless it spoon feeds them everything.

They don’t “understand” anything. It’s a miracle they know how to tie their own shoes.

lol

Are you saying in 20 years someone will be able to spend $5 million dollars and accurately shoot a rocket into space with capture capabilities and return it safely to earth while DIYing half of it?

I mean then you just wouldn’t use autopilot.

I’m certainly not saying old white dudes aren’t to blame for most of this shit, but Alabama’s bill was introduced by a woman and signed by a woman governor.

Illinois is tossing around a $1000 per year registration fee for EV’s right now. Talk about wanting to drive down the cost of a used vehicle...

Yeah for someone concerned about safety and PM those headlines leave a lot to be desired.

Progressive also has 20+ million policies in force and there have been no major catastrophes in the US since the hurricanes/wildfires came through. That’s also all their lines of business, not necessarily just auto insurance. If you want a good look at what Tesla is about to go through, go look at Root or Metromile’s

While it’s hard to find the data, what I found interesting is that American flies something like 6700 flights per day and made the above amount. Frontier flies something like 350 flights a day and made the above amount on baggage.

Honestly this doesn’t sound much cheaper than paying for a checked bag, and sounds like way more of a hassle.

*auto insurance* is what I’m talking about.
