Are you saying in 20 years someone will be able to spend $5 million dollars and accurately shoot a rocket into space with capture capabilities and return it safely to earth while DIYing half of it?
I mean then you just wouldn’t use autopilot.
I’m certainly not saying old white dudes aren’t to blame for most of this shit, but Alabama’s bill was introduced by a woman and signed by a woman governor.
Lol that date
This exactly. The show took its time in the early seasons because that's what Martin wanted and they were told another book was coming for them to meander through, then they hit content from a feast for crows and a dance with dragons, realized most of it was bad, and had to change course because they realized the…
They are discussing it, our “roads” are “funded” by gas taxes, and right now EV’s are paying no taxes and their registration fees are $17.50 per year, while regular vehicles are ~$100 per year. They are discussing moving EV’s to $1000 a year to make up for the lack of tax revenue via the gas pump.

That’s also all their lines of business, not necessarily just auto insurance. If you want a good look at what Tesla is about to go through, go look at Root or Metromile’s…
While it’s hard to find the data, what I found interesting is that American flies something like 6700 flights per day and made the above amount. Frontier flies something like 350 flights a day and made the above amount on baggage.
Honestly this doesn’t sound much cheaper than paying for a checked bag, and sounds like way more of a hassle.
*auto insurance* is what I’m talking about.
Auto Insurance is definitely not that profitable, a lot of places price your initial quote to either just break even or even lose money on your policy.
Some lines of insurance are profitable. Auto insurance is not often profitable unless you have a huge number of policies.
So my thoughts are that:
Generally speaking, not really.
Wait, why doesn’t Tesla just sell that data to insurance companies instead of setting up a new business unit for a product they have no experience in?
which is basically that Tesla wants to sell its drivers cheaper car insurance based on owners’ driving and the performance of Tesla’s Autopilot driver-assistance system.
