The point from the gif you posted perfectly encompasses the feel of the entire match.

Two weeks ago I was getting breakfast with my girlfriend at a diner when the waiter says, “Oh man! Has anyone ever told you that you look like Brendan Fraser?” All I can picture at that point is the weird clap and point version of Fraser. The waiter clearly saw the look on my face and clarified by saying, “No, no,…
Same. I’m even more disturbed that they are listed as “facials”
Stan is my absolute favorite player to root for in the slams, exactly for the reasons you mentioned in the article. Sure, Murray is a great player, but he’s also just a little boring. I love seeing Wawrinka hit angles that literally seem impossible. I was sort of hoping for a Stan v. Thiem final, but I’m also happy…
I’m also going to be finishing Persona 5 hopefully. I’ve got a decent backlog of games that I was really into for significant periods of time, but still have not finished. The top 3 on that list are Witcher 3, MGS V, and Dark Souls 3 (I know that I will experience serious anxiety getting back into a Souls game after…
I’ll be playing Persona 5 for most of it, but I’ll probably play a little Peggle 2 tonight. I recently got back into playing it, and it’s easy to focus on after a few beers.
I thought it was lame at the time when Graham Spanier was the “guest” speaker at my graduation (in 2009). Now I’m just disgusted.
I’ll watch this movie anytime it is on:
Just watched Flanagan’s Ouija the other day and really liked it. While none of his films have been groundbreaking (Absentia was pretty damn interesting though), they’ve all been extremely watchable and entertaining. I’m looking forward to where he goes in his career.
Glacier’s super kick could knock motherfuckers out!
I’m going to give a “no duh” sort of answer. It was when I moved out of my parents’ house. I really hadn’t saved up enough to justify moving out, but I couldn’t stand to live in such a toxic environment anymore. I grew up in a middle class household, but I’m poor on my own now.
After playing the beta, I can tell you button mashing will get you nowhere in this game. You really do need to be patient and plan your attack. This was great, but sometimes I’d resort to button mashing when I got emotional. When I did that I lost pretty much every time.
I played a lot of the beta as well and felt the same way as you. It was thrilling when I would get revived by a teammate. It made reviving my teammates a major goal each time I played.
Best type of dad. Genuinely funny, open to new things, and confounded by what his children are interested in. My dad is the same way. And I love him dearly
Shit, I thought “stalker” was maybe a term for a particular type of fighting game cheater. I’m very sad to hear that I wasn’t correct
It provided me with the motivation to become a teacher. That motivation came from my 11th grade American History teacher. Then, it gave me a chance to have a job that actually makes me want to go to work.
Dinner is definitely mom’s game, but it is usually fantastic. She’s a great cook. If you want to bring a nice dessert, you’ll get a seat at the dinner table, no problem.
That’s very similar to how my mom texts. For dad, it’s all business. For mom, texting is a hip thing that makes her feel young again. She doesn’t use “tha” though. That’s some next-level 90s dad shit.
Luckily all of my immediate family are all on the same page politically, so that is never a problem. We do tend to get angry though, so political discussions are often in small doses. Other than that, it’s usually very jovial and fun.
Of course! If it’s weekday dinner, it’s going to be something pretty lame and super healthy. We’ll have you over for Sunday dinner, that’s when the good stuff is made. The book was actually volume 2 of Paper Girls. I’d definitely recommend it, even if you aren’t normally into comics
