Man, it’s a shame that Evolve died so quickly, because that game was a BLAST.

Awkwafina has a bow and arrow! Awkwafina has a bow and arrow! Duck and cover!

Singularity and The Darkness were both pretty competent games. It’s a genuine shame that Singularity was ignored to such a degree, as the gameplay mechanics were fun and engaging, the level design and time-puzzles were clever, and the story was relatively entertaining (for a ~2010 shooter)

Now playing

Some baskets are worth two points, some are worth 200. Some dunks get style points, others do not. Different players are seemingly awarded different points randomly. It’s anarchy.

Man, I fucking love Dominion Tank Police, I wish is would get a remaster and released on bluray or streaming. Used to be on TV every other week rotating with Ninja Scroll, Galaxy Express 9999, Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Wicked City, something with construction mechs that I can’t quite remember...

The villains were named after the nukes we dropped on Japan, and it ends with the hero stabbing a telekenetic child to death. That’s what sticks out in my memory.

Hey, if you like it—we love it, Nick!

There were actually a lot of new players when it finally landed on Steam. It had like a 300% player spike in May and it’s still keeping a solid 8000-10000 players there, which does not account for those playing through EA’s app.

For all its jank and bugs, I thought Friday the 13th was actually the better asymmetrical horror game. There are more survivors, so you have a better chance of success, and fewer perks or abilities that led to the sort of complacent, game-breaking stuff you see in DBD. I can’t even remember the last match I was in

I’m such an old grumpy man when it comes to this game. The gameplay hasn’t evolved at all since the very start of the game’s release. It’s always find the generators. Fix them. Get out. That gameplay got dull after a week or so but still, people keep playing without demanding any kind of change and the devs are getting

Oh, and apparently like Win 10 was with Win 7 and 8 users, will be a free upgrade for Win 10 users:

Is that too minor an issue? How about the enemy AI being completely oblivious to ranged attacks, despite one of the four playable characters specializing in them? Observe as Cattie-brie fires off arrow burst after arrow burst into a group of enemies whose only reaction is to slowly die.

So people are willing to give their ID and be limited to one GPU per 30 days, but not to wear a mask to enter Walmart or show proof of vaccination to eat at Applebee’s? Fuckers.

If anti-abortion activists were pro-life, they’d support universal healthcare since lack of healthcare access kills tens of thousands of Americans every year, including many of those precious babies they claim to be always so worked up about. They’d fight for background checks and assault weapon bans so those kids who

I am 1/100th as knowledgeable as true TES gurus I am sure, but if I recall the sky in TES is very different from our own.  The stars are like rips in reality and not like our stars.  It’s a very different place, unless in universe their explanations for the sky are bogus.

Because this is frustratingly common with Sony Consoles. Every time, they build magnificent quality hardware, and fall far short on software, whether its features, overpriced memory card DRM, or nasty bugs in games or firmware. It’s almost every day I hear of someone falling victim to nasty errors with the PS5

You only need a job to pay for basic necessities because our society has allowed basic human necessities to be commoditized.

You know when people on the right complain about communism being responsible for everything bad, to the point that there is now the meme “Everything I don’t like is communism!”?  I’m reminded of that for some reason.

Well, the pre-order bonus is a comic-accurate skin, so it wouldn’t surprise me if there are plenty of other costumes, either unlocked in-game or via future DLC.
