I can imagine reasons like room space, not having a good environment for PC gaming (big family with only one computer, no desk, etc), or maybe that you already have a work laptop and don’t feel the need to get a big gaming desktop. Well, I honestly can only imagine 4k of any kind on a Switch if Nividia is adding dlss 2.0 to Tegra. So in the end it doesnt actually need a massive boost in all other components and the resolution boost is done through tensor cores.

I agree with this take. I wanted to pick up the last Mortal Kombat and hoped I could on Switch, but apparently the port was terrible due to the hardware limitations. And it’s a similar story with other games I would have picked up on Switch.

Well if it does 4K 30fps I am sure it will do 1080p and hopefully 1440p 60+fps. Any ‘pro’ model that does not support multiple resolutions and performance modes is either pretty dumb or well full Nintendo.
