When my wife was playing The Witcher 3 on our launch Ps4, I would sometimes be on the other side of the house and think she had started vacuuming or something. I’d then go “oh right the fan....”

Yup Xb1 is a ghost. My Ps4 when I use it sounds like a damn Michael Bay Transformer when it is working hard.

Ditto.

GamePass is looking better and better...

This is really surprising. I’m not sure how to feel about the way Sony went about this to be honest - I guess there’s something to be said about them just being silent, telling their customers nothing, and by extension not making anyone upset, but at the same time it seems fairly disingenuous for them to sit back and

This is a really half hearted attempt at combating Game Pass lol.

not that it matters but can you play with touch controls or you are required to have a BT enabled xbone controller.

No, he’s saying that when the shared space is being used (either the office or living room) he can hop right back into his game in whichever space isn’t being used.

I can imagine reasons like room space, not having a good environment for PC gaming (big family with only one computer, no desk, etc), or maybe that you already have a work laptop and don’t feel the need to get a big gaming desktop. Personally I’m just realizing that I’ve spend almost 2x as much money as buying an Xbox

Because even the Xbox Series S is better than around 98% of currently in use, for only a little more than what you would need to pay for the gpu of an equivalent gaming pc?

I agree completely. The PS5 looks simply ridiculous. Seriously, this is something that goes in people’s LIVING rooms. A space that guests will typically be invited into. This thing doesn’t fit with ANYONE’S decor! Not to mention that if people are flipping out about the size of the SX, they are going to lose their

believe it or not, most people actually own and play more than one video game

1080P TVs don’t do HDR.

Well, I honestly can only imagine 4k of any kind on a Switch if Nividia is adding dlss 2.0 to Tegra. So in the end it doesnt actually need a massive boost in all other components and the resolution boost is done through tensor cores.

I agree with this take. I wanted to pick up the last Mortal Kombat and hoped I could on Switch, but apparently the port was terrible due to the hardware limitations. And it’s a similar story with other games I would have picked up on Switch.

Well if it does 4K 30fps I am sure it will do 1080p and hopefully 1440p 60+fps. Any ‘pro’ model that does not support multiple resolutions and performance modes is either pretty dumb or well full Nintendo.

I guess you’re not saying it enough, Nintendo hasn’t heard you yet

Don’t forget they also are always required to be wearing sunglasses too.

They should remove the national anthem entirely.

I’ve never owned a Madden game, but I am 100% here just to see the “keep politics out of games” crowd’s heads explode.
