I’ve seen a few people I know share these with captions such as “This real!?” and “OMG can’t wait!” and I really thought I knew smarter people.

The biggest thing that bothers me so far, and I don’t know if this is a bug or by design, is that Junker Queen feels like an absolute bullet sponge. I’ll be unloading on her point blank and her health bar won’t budge and then she turns around and murders me. I should be happy that a tank feels like a tank but god…
FWIW you can use third party authentication apps now. I have mine linked to my Microsoft Authenticator.
You can kind of here it when he says “What is this place” too I think.
Illumination’s faces always look and move in a way that never really seems right to me and it’s no different here. Despite being heavily stylized Mario’s face still gives me uncanny valley vibes. Also feels weird hearing actual dialogue comes out of these characters but that’s not the studio’s fault.
Totally not NFTs but still uses the same bullshit terminology associated with NFTs. I have no trouble believing that Sony was ready to pounce on that trend.
Could have at least embedded Haver’s skit too.
As much as I would enjoy watching the typical parties have an absolute meltdown over both of those casting scenarios, I really don’t even think Bond needs to be recast. Just have a new agent become 007 and carry on in the same continuity. But then you’re right, it’ll probably just be another white dude anyway.
Fuck it, just let Pedro Pascal do it.
I’d just say to them the same thing I say to the dorks bleating on about Namor not being white and black people existing in Rings Of Power; if you want something that’s a 1:1 version of the source material, read the fucking books.
I miss the days when games were allowed to just...end. Nowadays if a game doesn’t have 100 more hours of shit to do after the credits roll it's some massive affront.
Since this is Illumination we can probably expect copious licensed pop music and fart jokes. I want to be excited based off the poster but I’m not a huge fan of Illumination post-Despicable Me 1.
As someone who never plays in handheld mode, no wireless is a killer. Shame because it looks much more comfortae than a Joy-Con.
In theory this doesn’t actually sound like a terrible way to ease new players into the game. It won’t apply to me as a player of OW1, but we’ll see what the consensus is once it launches.
Consumers spent the last two years paying outrageous upcharges for Nvidia cards to everyone but Nvidia. So of course they think they can get away with charging that much themselves right off the bat. Crypto might be dead, or dying, but we’re still seeing the effects of that shitshow.
You know you’re not required to consume or engage with content that doesn’t interest you, yeah?
Well if this ain’t just the Sony-est of Sony moves. I mean we all saw it coming, but still.
My thoughts exactly. I could maybe get on board with this article even little of Ghost of Tsushima was at any point described as a Samurai Life Simulator and not a Defend Your Homeland Against a Bloodthirsty and Brutal Invading Force Simulator.
I was excited and intrigued during the first few games. Back when I thought it’d eventually lead to a game set in modern times with Desmond becoming a full fledged assassin. Then that never happened. And then he apparently died or some shit. And then I couldn’t tell you a damn thing that happened in the metanarrative…
Skull & Bone having non-pvp settings makes that the only thing they showed that I can muster some excitement for.
