And handling his phone with them too. Won't anybody think of the phones?!

I have a separate beeping issue. Ever since putting a larger HDD in a few years ago it’ll let out one long beep one time every time I play. Doesn’t seem to be any set amount of time for the beep to occur. And it doesn’t seem to have any negative effect on the the system’s functionality so I don’t worry too much about

You must be thinking of some other party. And no, I’m not a Trump supporter or a Republican.

I like everything about this but the anime part. When I think of Splinter Cell I don't think of anime. Especially the awful CG anime it'll probably use like almost every Netflix anime.

Well, sure, but that’s part of the YMMV aspect. For my part, the older I get the more interested I am in this “unified going ecosystem” that Microsoft is touting. Which isn’t to say I won’t buy a PS5 eventually. But for my part, I really don’t think the Series X will cost more than $450, but that’d a separate debate.

Yeah, luckily it was the only one of their consoles that gave me that kind of trouble. I at least got pretty good at soldering a circuit from it though, so that’s a plus.

You may be right. Anybody that slept on that version missed out imo. It was worth it for the minigames alone.

Well, someone never played Super Mario 64DS.

It’s funny, I completely forgot about the power led. And then you mention it and all these vivid memories of it come back. Only they're mostly of it not lighting up. I went through about 6 PSones due to some issue or another where it wouldn't power on. Lol

Oh, definitely. It was absolutely revolutionary *for its time*. It just hasn't aged as well as some believe. It's the hardest one to get through when I replay the series.

I dunno, for me that's a pretty good selling point. With Play Anywhere titles I can swap between my PC and my Xbox. But with the Xbox One I'm taking a significant hit to my quality. That shouldn't be the case on the Series X. It's convenient for houses where the main TV is shared. It's obviously a YMMV scenario.

“It looks like a 360 game" is the new "It looks like a PS2 game".

I gotta agree with you. Halo 1 didn’t have great level design and the story wasn’t told as well as nostalgia would make people believe. It was just the first one and hugely successful so it’s viewed with some seriously rose tinted glasses. Which isn’t to say it’s bad, but it’s definitely not the best in the franchise.

No, you are definitely not. Than again, Halo 4 still looks like something that shouldn’t have been able to run on an Xbox 360. So 343 know what they’re doing.

Considering all the people asking “What’s the point of buying a Series X if you can play the games on an Xbox One?” this doesn’t seem like a bad thing from a business standpoint.

Huh. I guess I never considered the green power led an iconic part of the PSone brand. But I stand corrected.

Okay?

If it wasn’t for the PlayStation branding is figure those were Xbox shoes. Really strange color choice with this one, PlayStation.

Any word on incentives for people who previously purchased the game?

I’m reminded of this gem.
