I had a similar reaction — I was initially really disappointed and annoyed, but it stuck with me, and then I grew to appreciate it. How many endings create that sort of reaction??
This is exactly how I feel. The ending is a funny, unpredictable way to signify that these awful, miserable people deserve each other.
He says he offered to introduce the "breathtakingly beautiful middle-aged woman" to his wife and take her out to dinner, but yes - they no doubt have some sort of sucky marriage arrangement.
Technically not - he doesn't admit to doing anything with them in this piece (beyond considering financial support - because he's "SOOO pro-life"), just openly flirting and creepily acknowledging how attractive he finds them. Lucky wife he has!
Yes! Not everything in DC circulates around the Hill, if only tangentially. I personally haven't been there in over a year, because why.
It also happens to be MTV's latest franchise!
What is he winning? I'd like to know, so that maybe I can have a stake in the game.
Aw, that is nice. I remember the actor that played the 'big fat obnoxious' guy always seemed like he felt guilty or genuinely bad for the girl in his side interviews. I guess because he wasn't expecting her (and even her family) to be so polite? I don't even remember that her dad had cancer. I'm glad things worked out…
Yes! That one was pretty insane; on the slimier end of the reality game show spectrum. What happened in the end? Didn't the producers try to trick both the actor and the contestant into believing they were actually legitimately married? Did she win?
AHHHH that single tear freeze frame of Faux Harry (Fauxry) is priceless. Let's meme that shit!
I had a miserable summer dreading how this would all pan out in the end (and hating my job so much), and I haven't really been able to replicate this sort of luck since, but take a chance and lie, everyone!
I can give the most absurd lie I ever told:
Me too! I also remember reading friends' AIM profiles & away messages, consisting of classic Friends quotes.
That is what immediately came to my mind, and I can't get over it. The thought of dragging around all that bathroom-floor-grazed material makes me shudder. But, whatcha gonna do. Fashion! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This is amazing. "Excuse me, no time to hang around. I'll just be taking this back to my crib now."
Great, great, great point. And the gif is such a perfect accompaniment, I can't stop watching it.
