Anyone else feel as if “Ready Player One” is incredibly overrated? The nostalgia factor was great fun, but the writing was inexplicably bad and the plot was buoyed along by a bunch of lazy deus ex machina plot devices. I almost put it down a few times but worked through it since it was such a light read.
