PT Cruiser was high demand for a very limited time.

dealerships are the reason automakers have no real feel of what the customer wants.

I also worked in consumer lending and loan servicing for years. While some of these practices are indeed BS (like that double payment thing) and I hate them more than I can even type, we still have to put some of the responsibility on the borrower. If someone offers you financing at credit card-levels of interest

Lol, demand isn’t more than 10% build mix. Your point is moot, this is not limited production per the manufacturer.  If demand increases, they will simply build more.  The dealer trying to profiteer off consumer ignorance isn’t a novel concept, its just a shitty one.

That is exactly what I thought but wow, that’s some predatory bullshit.

Yea its bullshit. So say for example, you made all your payments on time, even beating the interest, and the final payment on your loan is $383.22. Your regular payment was $452.66. Since the final payment is lower than what your regular payment was, they want you to make that $383.22 payment along with the $452.66.

No. China isn’t in debt to anyone. It’s the inverse, their debt-trap diplomacy is incredibly, terrifyingly effective. They carved off a large portion of Sri-Lanka and essentially converted it to a sovereign Chinese territory with a pre-built USD 3 Billion international airport/port thrown in. It was essentially free.

China is currently holding two Canadian businessmen (known as the two Michaels) on fake charges in retaliation for Canada carrying out a US extradition request on Meng Wanzhou.

Nothing made the rear of the Z look worse than the convertible models. The 370 was slightly better than the 350 for that, but still looked terrible whenever the top was up.

I don’t know anything about bikes. These two-wheeled recliners always looked hilarious, and probably super comfortable to eat up miles. But doesn’t seem to be much... fun. Also, carbs in 1995? On a bike that looks like you’d have to tear it apart to get to them? No thanks. When did they switch to EFI? That’s wild to

I never liked the rear end of the 350/370Z. Too bulbous and round.

As Uncle Jesse said, Manual is 100% going to be a thing. I love this and haven’t given a shit about Nissan in a lonnnnnng time

General comment: This is by far the best-looking Z-car from Nissan in a very long time.

Those are really beautiful. Honestly, they look amazing.

dumb gonna dumb... the 370z is a perfectly capable sports car right now. Even if this is a lateral performance move, which it certainly wont be, it’d still be a perfectly capable sports car. The interior is completely revamped as evidenced by the photos which makes their post a predictably dumb response for jalopnik.

Or...hear me out! 195hp, FWD, raised up a little add some extra doors and because Nissan is fancy like that throw in an awesome CVT!!!

That’s how they made it cheap. And its a sports car. As far as i’m concerned the formula for the perfect sports car is “Make it drive more ore less old school, but with modern performance and reliability.

It’s a two-door sports car, what new technology do you absolutely have to have that this car doesn’t?

This is like the anti-Supra. Understated instead of over-styled, distinct nods to its heritage. Give it the 400hp TT V6 and a stick, price it in the low-40s to compete with the Mustang GT and undercut the I6 Supra, and you’d have to win hearts and minds of enthusiasts everywhere, right?

I like it: it’s got a lot of visual homages to the earlier Z cars, and I’ll definitely test one out.
