I too think these things look awesome - and it’s a true hatchback! Given how unloved they have been perhaps it has the potential to be a comeback hit at some point...but my biggest problem is this -

In an unreported letter going to Biden Monday, Democratic Senators Alex Padilla and Dianne Feinstein called on Biden”

As a long time window shopper for enthusiast cars, the one thing I would say: Take the time to write a competent ad with a good set of pictures. VERY few people do. I’m always willing to pay more to someone who doesn’t look like an idiot or dishonest.

Edit: I don’t like the Mazda 6 idea because they lack any semblance of grunt. Sorry Tom.

As someone who has sold on BAT, can confirm.

This sounds like it’s unrelated to the chip shortage and more likely related to dealers complaining about being forced to take Bolts and then having to give them huge discounts to sell them.

I’d rather buy a cheap minivan and use it to tow a rented pop-up. No

Yeah this screams “$200 non-refundable application fee that won’t be rolled into rent/deposit” to me

And high turnover is often a sign that the owner/management company sucks.

I’ve seen apartment complexes that do this. It’s often a sign that there’s high resident turnover. They’re constantly having to pull in new renters, so they want the cars to look nice so people aren’t turned off when they tour the apartment.

Live free, but tow those ugly brodozers!

Don’t most cars look like that after being street parked in NYC for a few months?

Sounds like an apartment manager is about to have a lot of dents and flat tires on their car.

Years ago I read a book called The Millionaire next Door. It was mainly about small business owners who lived in the same area with lawyers, brokers, doctors, etc. The millionaire  business owners were richer than their neighbors but usually didn’t have the flashy house, car, etc. They just lived an average low key
