True Story: I worked at an immigration law firm and one of our clients, who just happens to be a POC, was jaywalking in Atlanta and he got tackled by multiple police officers and arrested. The guy is an internationally renowned Oxford historian.

I think with minors they need to have a parent or family member to take them, but for adults they are on their own. Shitty ICE. Shitty government. I work as an immigration advisor for a major Boston hospital and I have an Iranian doctor on a flight to Boston right now. Reports are that CBP is letting people out of detention there. She might actually get into the U.S. despite the ban. Suck it Trump!
