I have conflicting emotions about going to nail salons where there’s no indication the workers are being treated fairly vs. not going and hurting what is probably the meager income that the nail technicians earn. I still go and I tip well (20%, sometimes more).

Hardwax for life. My hair barely grows back now and I am of Greek/Italian descent (i.e. hairy gorilla). I also used to get awful ingrown hairs with soft wax and I have noticed that this doesn’t really happen anymore now that I switched to hard wax.
