That was kinda my thing, actually. I wrongly compared it to Judge's previous works, but once you accept that it's just kinda…there, heading along, it's way more entertaining.

Thank you so, so much for sharing this. I kept confusing this with Hard to Kill and I was having such a hard time figuring out how Ja Rule was in a movie released in 1990, and now I can enjoy this whenever I want.

TERRRRRMINATORRRRR FFFFFFFF

SIR OR MADAM I BELIEVE I HAVE THE SOLUTION TO YOUR PROBLEM, PLEASE EMAIL ME AT THE ADDRESS IN MY DISQUS PROFILE (OR FIND SOME OTHER WAY TO CONVEY YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS TO ME) AND I CAN HOPEFULLY ENSURE YOU WILL WATCH AFTER LAST SEASON

When I was a kid I'd wear those around the house and pretend to be Bret Hart.

He's made mention of always being either super involved in the writing of his scripts or at least providing tons and tons of 'feedback' and rewrites, which if you're desperate enough to need Seagal in your movie probably means you're going to do whatever you need to do to actually get paid by whatever Sinno-Soviet

You alright, friendly internet stranger?

Not to mention how fantastic the last two Universal Soldier movies were, which is not a phrase anyone ever expected to have to type.

ON THE COUNT OF THREE, I NEED YA'LL TO SAY THE NAME OF MY DJ

This is a lot like both where I work and how we do our holiday parties, and thanks to both my hatred of the holiday season and my need to not see a ton of these people outside the office, I've hated it every time.

You know, I had a post here that I wasn't really proud of that I THOUGHT Chasing Amy kind of avoided that problem, but in hindsight I'm really not sure and I'm open to arguments either way.

I didn't even notice until you mentioned it, but that's a damn good point - where the hell have these been?

AFAIK there's never really been an explanation of where they've gone, and if I remember right I think you actually see Hutz and Troy McClure during crowd shots sometimes but their roles have largely been absorbed by other people in the past 20ish years.

Yep, and kind of playing the roles the other one should have been playing, as I didn't exactly buy Mila Kunis as Mona Sax, but so it goes.

Ooh yeah, forgot about that! I didn't hate it.

I politely argue to this day that Max Payne may be the overall least-offensive video game movie I've ever seen. It's closer in tone and spirit than most of them get, and if it didn't have a video game license it would have been remembered as a really okay B-/C+ actioner that maybe needed a little more fluid direction.

Never played EXA but I will absolutely vouch for that Record of Lodoss War game.

I hadn't considered that but now I'm sorta disappointed that it probably can't be both!

You had me at "self-loathing sex scenes". I NEED TO KNOW WHAT THAT IS AND HOW IT WORKS IN FILM

I honestly do think this is gonna come up for Luke again later. I kinda got the vibe from last night that Luke is sort of on the outs with the Family for not being able to pull off what Bray needs him to, and I'm super okay with that because he's the only Family member I give a shit about and he can totally be IC
