Police Story 3 is my favorite Jackie Chan movie period, and probably my second-favorite HK/Chinese movie period behind Hard Boiled. What a perfect example of what Chan does.

As much as I goddamn love every single thing about these articles, I really wanna sit down with ol' Tom here and just talk about James Bond for a while, because by and large I have disagreed with nearly every assessment of Bond movies he's made in these articles. I'm not saying this to be a dick, I just think it's

Literally exactly how I watched Alphaville, and I loved it

The good news is we wouldn't have had Wild Wild West or MIIB, but I have a huge soft spot for the third one, and frankly considering how obsessed I was with that movie as a kid I feel like I would have gone to see the first one anyway even if it didn't have "the other funny one from Independence Day".

Whoa, really? I never got the impression people felt Dick Tracy wasn't kid-friendly, but maybe I'm just biased by seeing it at an early age.

Man, that sounds awesome too, other than the shitty last season.

…wait…he was in two shows about ghosts and shit? We're talking about the same guy, right?

Slightly against Zodiac being that high, and there ain't no Casino Royale, but I agree with this for the most part.

I find it hard to believe that anyone working out of their house could correctly replicate the barely-there flavorlessness of Bud Light. He'd be found out immediately. "BROS! I can actually TASTE this brew! Someone must have switched this for COORS! THROW A BURNING COUCH IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AND COVER A STATUE IN

First thing I've seen in this thread that I recognized, and this show is fucking hilarious.

Reaper? I keep hearing that about the last season but I never finished it.

Holy shit, we had those too! I'd mostly just draw Transformers and write band names on mine. Yours is way better.

Agreed - in hindsight Stu shaped a lot of what I find funny in droll delivery, and this is an A+ example of what he brought to this show.

He kept saying it like "Herb" like the name, right? Or am I thinking of another Rugrats bit?

Stu is hands-down my favorite ever cartoon dad, just barely edging out Dexter's dad (and let's face it he's clearly the superior Pickles brother), and this is a goddamn shame. Nighty-night, Stu.

I goddamn love Lydia Lunch and the Raincoats so fucking much, this list rules

I've mentioned this in other threads but I fucking love Van Damme, and I love how willing he is to laugh at himself or play against type for humor. I wish I knew anything about the millions of goddamn streaming services out there, because this is like the original Netflix or Amazon or whatever Original I give a shit

Nor does it provide the solemn celebrations of a Dinesh D'Souza production!

Seconded. Regeneration is damn near the best action movie/mood piece going, and Day of Reckoning is surprisingly insane and experimental for what it is.

This a million times. Van Damme is my favorite of the "traditional" action stars, and part of that is due to how he's never afraid to let his characters look scared or hurt or confused during his movies. He's the closest to an actual human being in action movies we had for a while, even for a dude who has Timecop and
