I had to think about this one for waaaay too long. My online Journalism degree has failed me.

He told me it wasn't mine…!

My name is Tim Allen, so there's that.

I don't know if "…and the lamppost can't stop crying" or "curiosity killed the Kerouac cat" are worse.

You know what, I do absolutely agree with that, but The Gray Race may be my favorite BR album overall. I don't know if that's due more to Graffin picking up the slack or maybe Brian Baker just worked out really well immediately. I know, this makes me the worst.

Can't argue it. Tennant's run showed some unfortunate glimpses in that direction, and right around the time Amy thought really hard about bringing the Doctor back into existence I knew maybe we were headed off the rails. I miss the days when, say, Sylvester McCoy had to use a magic mcguffin to trick the Daleks into

Can anyone else see that nearly working as a Matt Smith Doctor Who plot?

I absolutely adore Bad Religion, always have. I've always loved their slightly more personal stuff above their solely political material, but either way I'll be the first to admit that Greg Graffin is at times both a really good lyricist and…a bit less subtle at times. I'm hard pressed to find any songs of theirs that

Unfortunately, I feel like that concept has sort of mutated into the internet-age idea of being "your own brand".

Speaking as a local, Michigan has a surprising amount of meaderies. By that I mean like two or three, but still…

CLASSIC LUCAS

Huh, that's a bit longer than 'a while'. I'm kind of curious as to what the thinking was, then. New Hope I kinda get because Empire Strikes Back was, what, 3-4 years later? What prompted the sudden change of Raiders, wouldn't everyone know its title by then?

Matter of time before John Travolta or Ethan Hawke is in that movie.

Wasn't that a while later, though, to indicate its ties with Temple of Doom better? I'm not saying this doesn't count, but I'm almost positive it was just "Raiders of the Lost Ark" for at least a while on VHS. You see it at thrift stores sometimes.

I bit into a burrito and inside was a child's shoe!

I'm about to be THAT GUY here, but Batman '89 KIND of has his origin.

A literal warning symbol? Is there like a little bug on screen that indicates something is "sponsored by Hit cocoa sandwich cookies"? Because that's…not a bad idea, actually.

New Jenny Lewis, new Hold Steady, new Fucked Up, and new Bob Mould. All of them great. 2014 is SO RAD, YOU GUYS

"Texting at the movies? AIN'T LIFE A BITCH."

Having only recently found out about them (and preferring "Joyce Manor" to "Of All Things I Will Soon Grow Tired" despite that maybe being my favorite album name ever) I am REALLY happy about the exposure they've been getting. I also don't get all the Smiths comparisons, but it makes more sense to pin that on Joyce
