I feel like I may have known about the Supertones going into it but whatever, they were cool at the time. I think just the fact we had TWO Christian-themed ska bands within the same decade is noteworthy enough, let alone the fact either of them kind of got anywhere.

Yeah, and they're kinda backed up so it's usually just better to hound them over Twitter. My girlfriend got a gift card to Jimmy John's by doing that so I figured it was worth a shot.

EXCEPT Colin Baker. He's the Timothy Dalton of Doctors!

Edgar's death bothered me more than most TV deaths did. Nice of them to give him the silent clock. I don't believe Tony got one, which is weird.

People who spend money to help them beat microtransaction games are the modern-day version of Game Genie owners.

Jon Pertwee is my all-time favorite Doctor, and I'm both glad the series has never stooped to ask Sean to take over the role, and heartbroken that we'll probably never see Sean play the Doctor.

An able mess?

Sadly no. We were 13 at the time so the only 'mood' we would have been able to set was 'stay up late drinking Mountain Dew and talking about Dragon Ball Z via MSN Messenger'.

That's the EXACT same tour I saw them on! I would get the bassist of Good Charlotte's autograph and would later give it to a girl I had a crush on in high school. Even at that tender young age I knew they were bad.

Yeah, that sounds about right. Also, I've never heard a better term for this sort of thing than "farty musk". I non-sarcastically tip my hat in response to your sharing of Magic knowledge!

No foolin'? It struck me as something they would have added much later on in one of the goofier expansions. I was also 6 in 1993, so I didn't know nothin' bout Magic!

Yes, except Smithers has the correct outfit and everyone adorably explodes into blocks. Marge still has a vacuum.

GOD YES I DO! And I was WAY more excited than I should have been.*

I would enjoy few things in life more than this.

I look at that Lego Milhouse and I think "this must be what it feels like to meet your spirit animal".

I've been out of Magic since around 9/11 (coincidence?! I THINK NOT) and I had to check and see if this was a real card.

That was kinda my problem. I never really hopped on the whole punk/folk train, even when Chuck and my boy Greg Graffin started doing it, but Hot Water totally owns and Rumbleseat (whom I just found out about WAY later than I should have) is decent.

All of that sounds GREAT, and I thank you for taking the time to post it!

Summerfest could be alright! We were thinking about trying to schedule our visit to coincide with the Bastille Day goings-on, since that looked cool too, but Summerfest will have Vampire Weekend, so…

Bay View sounds like it rules, is it easily accessible via public transit? We're going to be at the mercy of Milwaukee's bus system, I fear.
