LOL wut? Those wheels sucked then and they suck now.

No thanks - you made a Mustang even less desirable to me, and I didn’t think that could happen.  If it floats your boat though, that’s great.

Well, I suppose a ‘bad case’ is still a case.

Most old wheels were bad and only look good in their original context. Putting them on a new car makes them worse. New wheels on old cars can be similarly jarring, but can look nice if they’re in proportion and match the styling of the car.

Yea man, these are far from good looking wheels and the SN95 had other wheel options that were far more attractive. The three spoke polished aluminum option on the V6, the five spoke polished on the GT, and the five spoke polished available on the Cobra are all way way better looking.

I don’t like it, but not for any generational reasons.

no

My perception has been the opposite.  I’ve seen a few out in the wild now, and I think it looks a lot better in person than in the pictures.

Thank you. Too many so-called enthusiasts, in their smugness, lose sight of this. I’ve always made it a point to be supportive of the choices friends or coworkers made in buying cars. They’re happy and proud. It isn’t my place to take that away from them.

This has been common in the industry for decades.

Brick to the Future?

For $13,500 I would take this over a 17 year old Explorer in a minute.

At $13k this car is a steal. It’s devoid of anything WE care about, but they aren’t unreliable. Honestly as a consumer good it’s about the best decision out there for a vehicle.

For some of us who may be of moderate or better means, the thought of buying a new dodge journey would be met with a hearty laugh.

A growing young family without the means to spend at least $30k for a three row vehicle for starters. This at least comes with a warranty; other cars in this price range will not. Said family will not be in a good position to shell out $500 for an unexpected repair.

I was Today’s years old, when I found out that Dodge made a Journey that had a year of 202x. I know they came out in 2009, but for some reason, it feels like they stopped making them in 2009.

Re: fact #2: They should have just changed the venue to the Four Seasons in Philadelphia. That door looks plenty wide!

Agreed. Maybe it’s the color, but I see a tiny bit of my Grandma’s metallic blue 1978 CVCC Civic hatch in this model. I learned to drive stick in that car at age 14. She offered to give it to me years later with only 40k on the odo. As a young father and college student with other transportation needs at the time,  I

Another fact: The town in South Jersey where I grew up (Pennsville) had a Oldsmobile-Cadillac-GMC dealership that also sold the Bricklin. They had six or seven in various colors at on the lot at one time.
