The problem with EV charging is you have almost no idea how long it will take. Whereas with a gas station, your max filling time is probably 10 min. per car. But really closer to 5 min per car. If we were even at 20% new cars as EV sales, public charging would be an absolute nightmare.

Yeah I was gonna say. Usually, the enthusiast who wants a wagon isn’t the same customer w 100k to drop on an RS6 Avant or E63 AMG. They only have the cash to buy used. That’s why I believe the last gen E53 AMG would’ve sold really well as a wagon in the US.

That’s the limited... Did you miss every other new spec that is more off-road oriented?

That went great for Top Gear I heard

Let it go.

Stop, stop. It’s already dead.

Yeah, those are terrible.

Those are often called Altezza tail lights, because the Toyota Altezza (aka gen. 1 Lexus IS 300) famously had them.

Toyota didn’t jump on this trend; they started it. These were originally known as “Altezza lights” because they debuted on the 1998 Toyota Altezza (Lexus IS300).

You picked the wrong example. Toyota interior is very good of this era. Easy to use knobs and buttons UI. Durable materials. Visually cohesive design. Enjoyable to own and still looks good after years of ownership with only minor care.

Altezza yo!  JDM, Bro!

It has more to do with a no knock warrant early in the morning.  It is very likely he did not know it was the ATF breaking down his door.

Personally, I think the Cybertruck is largely pointless. But could Jalopnik try, just a little bit, to be balanced? Is that too much to ask?

A Prius has no right to look that good, especially in yellow! But dang, that’s got to be one of the best looking cars on sale today.

What’s a “Laster” Pointer ?

What’s dumb is that it needlessly takes away from something that is still ridiculously impressive. I’m not an Elon stan, the guy’s an idiot. And other than forcing it to happen, likely had nothing to do with the engineering of this thing. But it’s still an electric truck towing a Porsche and beating another Porsche (su

Marketing BS aside, let’s think about it 2 seconds, this thing is faster on the 1/8 mile and not too far behind on the 1/4 mile as an icon of a sport car, towing a freaking Porsche 911.

It looks like something created for dystopian video game with no licensing rights to an actual Charger.

I actually completely agree with you. What you’re describing is actually closer to what I thought this article/chart was going to be about. Unfortunately, I don’t think Jalopnik will be able to reasonably put that together. This is the kind of thing AutoTrader or Cars.com already has the data for and could actually cha

I’m just tired of mediocre content. Yeah, it’s not in one place, but it’s not that hard to find. The article offer’s pretty much nothing other than: new 911's have always been expensive, but this is just how expensive they’ve been/gotten. My point is the vast majority of people reading probably can’t afford and or
